Terrible service and long wait for food. One person sent back her food and refused to order something else before it took to long for the first order to be served. My lobster salad sandwich only had about a tablespoon of lobster, and I doubt if it was lobster, because it was so tough to chew. Will go to the... More

I love the bar at DeWolf Tavern! Great atmosphere and vibe. I offer meet froends for a drink eat at the bar. Mondays are oyster nights with oysters at $1 and a huge assortment available to choose from. Food is good and appropriately priced for the quality. I recommend it to all.

We went for a birthday dinner -- our son's first choice. Service was sub-par, server was not attentive and argumentative when requesting a sharper knife. We were never served a bread basket ( which I now know we should have asked for). My husband's dinner of bacon wrapped scallops was served on a small rectangular dish -- it was the... More

Interesting building and nice setting, BUT, average food and service. The menu is heavy on an Indian flavor, which is fine if you want Indian. We were looking for steak and seafood, so a little disappointing. We had Indian spiced Salmon. The side dishes were creative but when I asked if one could be substituted for another, I was told,... I must have eaten at the DeWolf Tavern a dozen times in the last several years. We also had our office Christmas dinners here in the last 2 years, so I know the place and am very familiar with their cuisine. The food at the Dewolf Tavern was always good, the service was invariably hit and miss. However, yesterday night... More

Extremely disappointing. We had lunch here a few years ago, and though not inspired, the food was good, competent, perfectly serviceable. So, we thought, let's return with the family, a group of 6, to celebrate our son's graduation from Roger Williams University. Um, bad choice. When I made the reservation I was led to believe that the place would be... More

I went here with a group for a friends birthday. We ate in the lounge area and put the tables together. Having worked in the restaurant industry I know that this isn't often an ideal situation. But I never would have known that by the service. The server was attentive, took all of our orders by memory AND got them... More

DeWolf Tavern - the name gives the impression of steaks, burgers, chops. But investigating the menu posted outside revealed many Indian-influenced dishes - which turned off my spouse. But we tried it anyway. The interior is old warehouse fare with history - exposed stone, beams. Cozy downstairs (entry level) with a full bar, booths, high top tables....and during nicer weather,...
