I'm a local resident, so if you want to go to a local's favorite for an excellent breakfast, then THIS is the place to go. It is family owned and run and the service is outstanding. Weekends can be a long wait with the locals and now the tourists jamming the place, but it is worth the wait. There are... More

The decor in this place is pretty generic - you have no idea what the food is going to be like until it arrives. And then it does, and it's fantastic. It's great value for money, the service is really friendly and efficient, and the portuguese twists on American classics are a treat. Highly recommended.

If you go on a weekend, be prepared to wait a short time because this place can get packed. The weekdays are a bit easier to get a table immediately. They are very family friendly and have a wide range of breakfast items. They also have almond milk if you need a substitution. Sometimes the kitchen can get backed up... More

There lots of places to have breakfast in Bristol. This is the one I would say is the sweet spot for $$$ vs quality of food. Great service and always busy. Eat here at least twice a month.

I couldn't think of any real complaints but, with five waitresses and one cook, we had to wait for the kitchen to catch up. To be fair, a significant contributor to the back-up was due to one couple that lingered over coffee and took their time reading the Sunday paper while over a dozen people waited for seats. Anyway, the... More

We stopped for brunch mid week-no long weekend lines out the door so we easily got a table for 4 at the window. Everyone's pancakes & eggs were done perfectly. I ordered a BLT: hold the bacon, lettuce, double tomatoes, avocado on rye toast. There are other items like a veggie wrap too but no GF bread if u require... More

If you want a great breakfast (nothing too fancy or creative), this is THE place in Downtown Bristol. We generally frequent this place on a weekly basis. It gets busy on weekends, so don't be surprised if there is a line, but it does move quickly. Good food, great service...a best in class restaurant for breakfast or lunch.

It's funny that they call it the "sunset" cafe, when they serve breakfast and lunch, but not dinner which usually occurs around sunset. We went to Sunset on the recommendation of the people in the clock shop next door. We ate there on a Saturday afternoon when it was not crowded, but it took 25 to 30 minutes to receive... More
