I've had stuffed French toast in many restaurants over my 60+ years and this was absolutely the best!! They combine sour cream and cream cheese AND then top it off with cinnamon sprinkled whip cream! Oh my....it was also stuffed with blueberries and strawberries. Rochelle was our waitress and couldn't have been any nicer. Don't drive by Phil's Hungry Haven... More

We just came from breakfast at Hungry Haven and it was fantastic. I had the banana bread french toast -- delicious and PILED with whipped cream. Banana pancakes also looked amazing, bacon was great and they use real potatoes for the home fries. A+ all around. Great selection on the menu and friendly people. Singing chef this morning was a... On our visit to Charlestown, Rhode Island, this was, another recommendation from our motel proprietor. It was a little out of the the way but we'll worth the ride. Really scrumptious breakfast in a cute environment.

On ouw way from Newport RI to New Haven CT. were getting quite hungry and pulled off Rt1 to find somewhere to eat. Nothing pretentious about this place but the food and service was very good and inexpensive. Downside - no alcohol.

Had a good lunch here en route back from Newport. The staff were very friendly and the food was very good. Had a lovely personally touch. And so close to the main road it was no detour to get here. I would definitely return.

Stopped in for breakfast based on a TripAdvisor recommendation. It was wonderful. We had the house made hash and eggs (#5) and eggs and home fries (#8). Fantastic! Great prices too. Can't wait to try lunch.

We have been eating breakfast here since we began summering in RI. Its always great. They have begun serving dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. The menu is huge. The seafood Fra Diablo was exceptional. The bride loved the prime rib. The jumbalia was also great. How they can get such diverse food and still make it good from such a... More

Excellent food, great service, went two nights in a row this past week. It's BYOB. Not that big of a place so go early to get a seat without having to wait.
