My wife and I went to Newport Creamery in Garden City last Saturday night. My wife order the stuffed grilled cheese sandwich with broccoli and tomato. It is to die for.I ordered the pattymelt combination. The burger was cooked to perfection, medium well, just as I ordered and the French fries were hot and crispy.Super awesome taste on a cold night.I have... Place to visit with kids or friends. Great price and nice selections. Fun atmosphere. Kids love to come for ice cream in the summer months

Great diner-esk experience. Terrific filling food and defiantly do not leave without trying an awful awful (milkshake), but warning they are addictive, as in driving just to get one!

I went here with my husband's son on his 24th birthday. We got a lovely warm welcome and our server (who shared the same name as my husband's son) told everyone in the restaurant it was a special occasion, and the whole restaurant wished him a happy birthday! It was a lovely touch. He had an Awful Awful the trademark... More

We were in Rhode Island and stopped buy for dinner after running around. The service was good. The young lady was attentive but not a nuisance. The problem with the food was the fries were soggy as if somebody is frying them in large batches and they are sitting under a heat lamp. The wrap was good a lot of... More

Not sure why this place has so many poor reviews but it is not bad at all. I had not been to one of these places for years but there is something comforting about them, the menu hardly changes and the service and food are very good. Similar to a Friendly's, these places are known for burgers, sandwiches and ice... More

Both good food and ice cream. I have to get at least one Awful Awful as well. Unfortunately, not too many locations left around here anymore so the ones that are around still are busy due to the good service.

Service is fair but the ice cream always speaks for itself. Food is also decent when it comes to creamery burger on toast, grilled cheese and tuna, best grilled hot dogs.

Newport Creamery is a Rhode Island tradition. Noted for its great tasting ice cream it really is a full service restaurant serving fun comfort food, breakfast items, sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. This location has a walk up window, very busy in summer, outside seating and inside of course. Great selection of different flavor ice cream, and a few selections of... More
