We just happened up upon the Marketplace because our granddaughter wanted an ice cream! The ice cream was delicious. Other visitors were ordering sandwiches, but I didn't pay attention to them. This little gem is directly across from the marina.

We ordered 6 sandwiches. The chicken salad was store made. Two of the guys who had them said they were excellent. Everyone else had a sandwich with turkey, avocado, pesto, tomato, lettuce and bacon. These sandwiches were substantial with your choice of bread. The best sandwich we had on this trip by far. We went back the next day for more.... More

We stopped for lunch here because some of the locals said this was where they eat. I had a grilled chicken sandwich, my niece had a philly cheese steak. Both of us enjoyed our sandwiches very much. The place is modeled and decorated like an old fashioned sandwich shop. There are antiques scattered about. Plenty of tables, lots of space.... More

Great service, clean, has additional rooms on back. Friendly. A colorful local went in, got a drink and said "I will pay you this time I promise" and owner was cool and blasè about it. Shows me that the community is pretty cool.

I love, love, love the atmosphere! It was like a step back in time. My chicken salad sandwich was delicious and my big splurge was worth the calories - a chocolate milkshake. Our server had just started her job the day we ate there but even though she was a bit shy, she did a really good job of taking... More

After walking around the waterfront at the end of a day touring MCRD Parris Island, we wanted something quick to take back to our room. I think it was about 4:30 pm, not sure when this place closes. My husband got a built to suit sandwich, I'm not sure what he got on it. My 16 year old son was... More

Many local regulars eat lunch there, but mainstay of the business is based on all the tourists who stumble in. Since they live off one time tourist trade, quality, service, and pricing of product are adequate at best. Too expensive for attitude of staff & return for your dollar spent.
