Don't know about the bistro part, but go have a cocktail or beer at the bar. Be sure and play a game of Shut the Box.
Great place for a beer. The taps are on the wall behind the bar, which is unusual. Good snug space. The IPA was smooth and rounded.
We were in Beaufort and directed to Hemingway’s for happy hour, what a pleasant surprise! Lovely, neighborhood feel, the bartender was welcoming and friendly. We have been back and look forward to returning! Thanks for your hospitality!

This place has an amazing Muffalatta! I'm also ver partial to the french onion soup!! It's outdoor patio dinning area is a relaxed and comfortable spot to enjoy a great lunch and a cold beverage!

This is a Great bar, but kind of hidden unless you are walking on the waterfront side of Bay St. We enjoyed the Bartender, Kaanani, who taught us how to play "Shu8t The Box" and enjoyed our drinks as well! Great atmosphere and great drinks!
If you want a great lunch, good conversation, find out where all the locals go to eat...this is your place to go. Not recommended for children unless able to eat outside. It is right on the Bayfront and on the walkway downtown.
