Visiting Charleston is all about the food and drinks. We love it, but after a weekend of overindulging, felt like just a "snack" for Sunday night instead of a large dinner. We stumbled upon O'Hara and Flynn after looking at other wine bars. Our host and server, John Ross, made us feel right at home. The wine list wasn't huge,... More

After eating many large, excellent meals in Charleston we were looking for a light meal and recalled looking in on this spot a few days before. It is a small, quaint wine bar with tons of atmosphere, Very cozy and comfortable, and the food was AMAZING! - Best of our trip, actually. You absolutely must have the hummus, and the... More

Had a groupon for this location and made it our first stop before heading to a restaurant. I almost wanted to stay here. Our meat appetizer plate was very good and the wine selection was vast. The library setting with jazz music piped in was relaxing.

We just stopped in here to rest our tourist feet & enjoy a glass. Great wine selection & reasonably priced. We had some tappas also. The bruschetta was over the top. $40 test stop but worth it and fun.

Loved this place. Small, cozy atmosphere, great proprietor, and each of the four small plates with well-paired wines was great. My tab was a little high for one person, but I was splurging and I think I ordered all the most expensive items and wines on the menu. And it was worth it. I had the duck, the ravioli, the... More

We stumbled upon this quaint little place as we strolled. What a romantic setting. Just "hodge podge" of a place. Our waiter was so attentive, and we were lucky to have it to ourselves for some time.

During our five-day stay in Savannah and Charleston, our dinner at O'Hara & Flynn was my favorite meal. I felt as though I had walked into a Paris bistro, or even a Jean-Pierre Jeunet movie. (For the non-cinephiles among you, Jeunet directed the French megahit AMELIE.) Everything about it was extraordinary, from the music (the incomparable Stephane Grappelli) and the... More

Enjoying fabulous southern cuisine in Charleston but needing a refreshing light meal of gourmet cheese, wine and assorted small plates. Great intimate atmosphere with candlelight, french style music and we understand live music on weekends. John Ross our host was knowledgable and enjoyable to explore a varied wine list with. When visiting Charleston a must stop for a sophisticated dining... More

A light meal with a glass of wine is all we wanted, having had a substantial lunch. What a delightful oasis. Pleasant fiddle music in the background, but quiet enough to be able to talk without yelling at each other. Civilised, and a pleasant change from all the noisy eateries we had used so far.
