I had a great fish taco and would definitely come back to try more. I recommend the crunchy shell as it complimented the rest of the ingredients.

The salsa was very bland, the blackened fish taco was plain, and the blackened steak taco was OK. Most certainly not the best taco in town. Will give it another shot to try the carnitas street taco.

Dear SCreviewer2008, my name is Lindsey and my husband, JV, and I own the Taco Spot. We are very sorry to hear you were disappointed with your recent visit at our West Ashley location. We use whole tomatoes, garlic, onion, cliantro, jalapenos in our salsa, so it's really disappointing to hear you feel our salsa is bland. The blackened fish... More

This is a tiny west Ashley secret. On Tuesdays they offer $2.50 tacos. They are delicious! If you like PBR is cheap!! We loved it.

We all got something different but we all thought there could be a little more protein on them. I get trying to make a profit, but you need people to come back. Have to pay for chips and salsa, but the salsa was good. Also got the Mac and cheese side, very creamy and nice bite.

First off, the chips and dip are not complementary. So if you want those you will have to order them, they are fairly cheap so its not a deal breaker. The chips have a lot of pepper added to them so watch out for that. The salsa is a bit spicy, which I like. I went with the pineapple pork... More

Been twice for lunch in West Ashley. Great service with friendly conversation. The food is always fresh and creative. Great margaritas and all around affordable.

Don't be scared by the outside. Taco spot is located in a small nondescript strip mall in the West Ashley section of Charleston. (close to Home Tream BBQ). The decor is very simple However the tacos are the best around. Their homemade crunchy shells are like nothing I've had before. (I don't usually eat tacos) The original fish is very... More

I wanted something different for lunch so I stopped in for a quick bite. It's easy to miss if you don't know the area. As for the service, I was greeted right away and he was pleasant and efficient. That was nice 😄 I ordered a fish taco and a blackened fish taco. I also had chips and queso. The... More

My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch two weeks ago. Both of us got a taco and the salsa sampler. Both our tacos were good and the sampler was nice. We were pretty early so the bar side was empty and not too many people were there but I imagine that it gets a good business for... More
