This is the best seafood restaurant I have ever been. The setting is gorgeous with an old world character. The service was great. They spent the time to explain the menue in detail. We started with an amazing ceviche. Very different from what i had...More

We snagged a booth here by showing up five minutes before they opened for dinner. Great atmosphere, beautiful restored setting in a former bank building.

Reservation recommended. No trouble seating on time. Food and service were absolutely incredible! Oysters, mushroom salad, and stuffed lobster were exceptional.

Went for dinner with friends Friday night. Outstanding. We sat upstairs for the first time and it was fantastic. Felt more private despite being beside the railing overlooking the downstairs. Our server was the absolutely adorable and knew the menu inside and out. We had...More

One of the best seafood restaurants in Charleston. Oysters and Flounder ceviche were delicious apps. Grilled swordfish entree was amazing. Very good service and knowledgeable wait staff.

Lucky reservation. Menu offered lots of options. We picked many and none disappointed. Best surprise was the steak. Best rare steak ever. Not surprising, grand oysters and bbq shrimp

Excellent in every way. We ate at many good restaurants on this trip, but this was our favorite. Sat on the balcony level and ordered oysters plus a long series of small plates. Everything was delicious! The Chef has a creative and spot-on palate. Service...More

Nice casual. Jackets not required. My own opinion is that T shirts and flip flops are too sloppy.

It wasn't that it is noisy - but tables are close to each other, so you can easily overhear the conversation of your neighbor. Normal level of business and people talking.
