We were promptly seated by the window with a great view of the Intracoastal Waterway. Blackened grouper sandwich was excellent. Captain's Platter, shrimp oysters and flounder prepared very well. Service was very good and courteous.

Family holiday trip. Always look forward to their She Crab soup. I've had the soup in other places throughout Charleston but the best is here. Found another favorite during this visit, the hush puppies were so good. The four of us all tried something different. The Grilled Seafood Trio was very good. They do have a small dock for those... My wife and some of our family stopped in for lunch. We were quickly seated and our waitress took our drink/food order within minutes. The food was delicious and the drinks were ice-cold. I had the Market Street Steampot which had Alaskan Snow Crab, Lobster Tail, King Crab, Corn and Potatoes. We will definitely visit Charleston Crab House again when... More

Our first time here and we were very pleased with the choice of food items and, in particular, the friendly, attentive, and efficient service of Beth, our waitress. We never felt rushed or forgotten and enjoyed eating outside and watching the draw bridge and boats come in.

This wasn't my first time here, nor was it the 2nd. It might have been the 4th. I keep returning because it's really good. I'm not a fish or seafood lover but everyone else in my party is. They weren't disappointed. Shrimp, crab legs and and hamburger were all delicious.

We were looking for a casual waterfront dining spot, and decided to stop in for our dinner. We ordered a steamer pot (to split between my husband and myself), and it was served in a relatively short amount of time. The contents were drenched in a buttery sauce which turned a great, healthy steamed seafood choice into a terrible dietary... More

There were six of us in our party and we ordered hush puppies for an appetizer. There were 8 in each basket and the first one I broke open was gooey inside (the others were fine but the gooey one kind of turned me off). I ordered shrimp and grits while one ordered grilled salmon, the other two couples split... More

We had always made this our first stop for sea-food and had always been served a good meal. BUT NOT THIS TIME. The she-crab soup was just anything but hot, not even warm and the crab cakes were about the worst we have ever had. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

My friend wanted to have seafood and would love a water view. I knew just the place I visited here in September 2016 and enjoyed the food and the view. This visit we sat outside on the deck. We sat close enough to the docks that we could see the fishermen cleaning their catch. Oh yea. The food. Great! I... More

After visiting the Angel Tree on James Island, we were hungry and saw this restaurant on our way back. Food is good...not great...but good. I had shrimp and grits and my husband had soft shell crabs. Pleasant server.
