Hadn't been here in a while & knew it was always delicious so we went for Sunday Brunch. The Teriyaki Wings were meaty & flavorful. The Shrimp & Grits was perfectly delicious with nice medium shrimp & enough. I finished with Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce & Ice Cream. The waitor was very friendly & attentive as well. We went here based on a recommendation from a musician friend and loved it. The house band (Christian Carroll and the Bograts) was hugely entertaining and it was fun for all. The food was top shelf pub fare, and overall reasonably priced.

Bartenders were excellent. Came back a couple of times at lunch and they remembered us and knew what I wanted to drink. Food was good pub lunch food. Had apps one day and sandwiches and fries the second day. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food, drinks and service.

We had some time to kill after a tour of the city and we stopped in here for a pint and some appetizers. We sat at the bar and the staff was amazingly attentive and the beer selection was outstanding. We ended up eating some pretzels with beer cheddar dip - amazing. Try the Palmetto Pilsner if they have it!... More

Wanted Irish food and cold beer during a day trip to Charleston. And Condons delivered. It has the feel of a Irish pub with the dark inside and wood interior. I had the corned beef and cabbage and it was seasoned very well. Great meal and great atmosphere. It's also in the happening part of downtown so walking distance to... More

We've been to Condon's many times, both pre and post-Hurricane Hugo. The food is a bit better than you'd expect for a pub and there's often live music in the evenings. A great place for a beer, a bite, and a few songs.

We checked the menu mounted outside - appreciate that as I don't like surprises. My husband ordered a Reuben sandwich and I ordered she crab soup and a salad with grilled chicken. He suddenly wasn't feeling well as his sugar was low. The sweet/unsweet tea wasn't working fast enough and he explained this to Justin, our waiter, who quickly brought... More

After working in the restaurant business for many years, Tommy opened his first restaurant in 1984. He has made his name by becoming one of Charleston's favorite local spots to serve up Lowcountry specialties such as shrimp and grits and fish and chips. Tommy runs the type of family-oriented establishment where people know their children are as welcome as they are. In fact, a children's menu has been specially prepared for "little leprechauns." In the months following Hurricane Hugo, Tommy made numerous trips to Ireland collecting exquisite antique mirrors and authentic Irish memorabilia that adorn his restaurant. He scoured the countryside and brought every pub mirror he could find. He laughs wryly about his massive shipping bills. The results are worth all his effort. The mirrors cast rich reflections, making the restaurant warm and inviting. Some mirrors are ornately detailed while others shimmer with simple elegance. You'll swear you've been transported to a pub shrouded in antiquity in Ireland's rambling countryside. The restaurant would not be complete without the sounds of Ireland. The background music is perfect. In the pub and bar area the "live" sounds of Ireland can be heard every Wednesday through Sunday nights. You can sit back and listen or join in singing an Irish-American sing-along. Tommy says it is wonderful to see whole families getting in on the fun at one table while at another sits a couple on a date and at yet another sits someone's grandparents remembering and laughing.
