We visited during "Restaurant Week", where many restaurants provide a 3 course dinner for $30. Some of our party of four opted for this, while others chose to order a la carte. I will say that from the moment we were seated on a busy Friday night, our meals and service were excellent. Our server, Slade was engaging, informative and... More

This was one of the best all around dining experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, perfection! Our server was Billy, and he really went above and beyond which took our experience to a whole other level. We had a large party and made reservations over the phone ahead of time. I am pregnant and Billy did a great... More

We ate here for restaurant week, and every single dish my husband and I had was amazing. Southern food can be a bit heavy, but not at Magnolia's, and all the great southern flavor was there. Service was fantastic. We definitely want to try to go back and try the regular menu before we move from Charleston.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Magnolias while on holiday in Charleston. Well-timed too as it was Restaurant Week. We enjoyed a fabulous gourmet experience---broccoli and poblano cream soup, crab cakes served over grits and fresh succotash, bourbon grilled salmon, and citrus infused tea cake. Southern cuisine at it's best! The service was impeccable.

Your down home southern meal is waiting for you here. Bring an appetite. We had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, deviled eggs, and fried mac and cheese with the bacon jam among other things. All delicious. Make sure you make a reservation in advance for dinner.

Dined at a number of restaurants while visiting Charleston & Magnolias was by far the best. The pimento cheese deviled eggs, vegetarian plate, & mussels & little neck clams were all fabulous. The citrus cake was luscious. The restaurant is beautiful & the staff makes you feel special. Don't miss Magnolias when visiting Charleston.

Magnolia's was our first stop on our Charleston culinary adventure. We opted to go with the restaurant week menu which I regret. The first course of a beet salad was ok, I had the Pecan crusted chicken for dinner which was really good. My mom had the salmon with grits for her entrée and while she loved the salmon she... More

Best Shrimp and Grits ever! Great atmosphere. I've dined there several a time and I always look forward to returning. I do suggest if you have a large group that you select their private dining option. I also wish their staff were a lil more personable and hospitable.

This is our second trip to Magnolias and it was just as fabulous as the first visit. The first thing you notice is the beautiful space. High ceilings, beautiful bar and elegantly set tables. The tables are far enough apart that you have some privacy during your meal. The next thing you notice is the fantastic wait staff which provided... More

This was a restaurant who's reputation was well earned. For some delicious southern cooking don't miss this one. The salads and lunch options were wonderful. The service and atmosphere made you feel as though you were in a southern home for lunch.
