The food is wonderful here and at a great price! I love the atmosphere and decorations of the place. I had the crab cake sandwich which was amazing! We also shared the friend green tomatoes, which were so rich but great! Highly recommend if in...More

Great southern food and hospitality. The waiter was authentic and a gem. He steered us to the collard green spring roll and it was strangely delicious. The fish of the day, tilefish, was fresh and prepared well in a bed of rice and summer vegetables.

One of the best, if not the best restaurants in Charleston; and that's saying something with all the great restaurants in Charleston. Always, consistent, great selection, and amazing food. A Charleston tradition. You won't be sorry! PS: get the Fried Geen Tomatoes.

So it was a 185 degree summer night (or just felt that way?) and we stopped here for a drink and a snack at the bar. Pretty place, nice people and cozy/cool. They did warn us to try something other than the flatbread, but the...More

Magnolias is a beautiful restaurant. We really enjoyed the delicious pimiento cheese appetizer with the warm sourdough bread. My steak was tender and juicy and cooked perfectly. While the presentation of food was beautiful, I was unable to eat the asparagus because it was charred....More

Fantastic deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes and baked mac and cheese. Decor and ambiance a plus. Waiters are friendly and helpful. Make a reservation in advance!

Was excited to eat there for my 4th wedding anniversary, but for the price we were disappointed. I had the duck, it was bland. My husband had scallops and shrimp over grits and it was cooked perfectly-- but again, nothing was 'jazzed up'. The waitress...More

I didn’t see any parking near Magnolia’s when I visited in January 2018. All of the downtown parking was seemingly paid parking only.
