I would recommend starting with the mussels in white wine and butter sauce. If you can only eat one order of these you are doing well. Everything on the menu is great we have ever eaten. Great place from shrimp and grits to fresh seafood.

For month in South Carolina, was the first restaurant I went to with family; and it was the most some of the best food and drink I've ever had!

I live on Daniel Island and thought this a good option for a cocktail or evening meal. The place is being re-done and will open soon. No public indication of what it will be.

This restaurant is a museum, filled with pirate memorabilia. It makes you feel like you've stepped back into the early 1700's with the likes of Edward Teach and Captain Kidd. The food is excellent, makes a great presentation, and is reasonably priced. They have a...More

I had the wreckfish dinner special with grits, fresh and preserved tomatoes, fennel, and it was divine. I got there about 5 minutes before it closed, so the service was lacking, but the dinner was divine!

We got there at 5 as soon as they reopened. We shared the mussels (2 orders), calamari, and early bird Steak Au Poivre. The food was exceptional and the service was great! Would definitely recommend this place!!!!

A few years ago this place was worth a visit. I am not sure what happened in the meantime, but it has certainly gone downhill. Food is below average for Charelston, wine is overpriced, the atmosphere is dreadful. Service is average, and it has fun...More

Food was not good at all. Surprised it stays open in a city like charleston where there are hundreds of great restaurants.
