Driving through Florence and stopped based on online recommendations. We had excellent dinners (mac with chicken and sweet tea pork chop). Both delish. And service was some of the best we've ever had. Very attentive and polite. Creative environment. Highly recommended. Bob and Carol from Georgetown

For years, Red Bone Alley has been a favorite of locals. The owner brings his special interest in Low Country (Charleston, Beaufort (SC) and surrounding areas) cuisine, as well as game food, such as quail, to the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. Diners walk into an enclosed building which is an "outdoor Charleston garden area" setting with two-story house... More

If you are in Florence, you must try out Red Bone Alley. They have amazing food and great service. Their Shrimp and Grits is delicious (even when reheated the next day)! My husband loves their marinated grilled ribeye. The kids will enjoy a visit to the ice cream truck for dessert.

very unique restaurant to stop by especially on travels along I-95 or as I-20 deadends into Florence, SC. Menu surprises with local favorites dressed to gourmet quality. Whether an office Birthday Lunch or Family Celebration or time to stretch your legs on long trip...this is a refreshing stop. You will not be disappointed.

Living in the South I've eaten shrimp and grits numerous times but here...The BEST EVER! But you must save room for grandma's pound cake. Wow!

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our experience at Red Bone Alley. The atmosphere is very welcoming, with a unique two-story layout and fun decor. We started with the shrimp and fried green tomatoes-delish! We also had the southern fried chicken planks and the crab cakes--both highly recommended! The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. You won't be disappointed with... More

Stopping overnight on return from a trip to Florida. We went based on reviews on this site (which we did on at least 5 other occasions on this trip with equally disappointing results) The layout of the restaurant is attractive overall resembling the titular "alley"; however, looking closer exposed some grubbiness. Our table and all 4 chairs were uneven and... More

Loved their Bermuda Triangle appetizer. I had chicken pontalba which was very good especially the local sausage in the dish. Note that the chicken was breaded and fried. My dinner mate had the crab cakes which were very good- spicy. Restaurant was unique in that it recreated a street scene. Kids liked climbing on ice cream truck.

Red Bone Alley is a wonderful location to have business luncheons and personal gatherings alike. The food is superb with a great selection of appetizers, fresh salads and southern cuisine. I personally love the blackened salmon and cheese grits. The bar area can be a tad loud as can be expected so I would suggest the main dining area if... More

Arrived around 5:30 on a Friday and was seated promptly. Good attention from waiter. However, an hour after I ordered I was told my food had been mistakenly given to another table. Took another 10 minutes for my plate arrive. Had the grilled pork chops which were delicious but the succotash was not even room temperature. The mashed potatoes had... More
