We had take out a couple weeks ago. Dine-In is not available yet (as of 7/14/20). Both times the food was very good. We have had curry and pad Thai dishes. All were very tasty - better than what we have had at most other local Asian restaurants. Staff are very nice and wear masks. Will be happy to get food from there again. Also, want to experience their dine-in when it is available.

We accidentally went at 3 pm. Half off sushi TIME, yeah! I live the spicy mustard for egg rolls. The do gluten free Chinese which is a great plus. My kids live their fried rice. I particularly love the Sushi Naruto, which is thinly sliced cucumber wrapped sushi. I only have found it at Red Bowl. It’s great and different. This location has better, slightly larger sushi which I prefer. The one criticism, the spring and egg rolls don’t come out hot enough like they are heat lamped and not totally make to order.

We ate at the Red Bowl off Pleasantburg a while ago and more recently, this one. I've been diappointed both times. There's nothing wrong with this restaurant, but it isn't anything special either. First off, there doesn't seem to be any red bowls! You'd think they'd have some. The food is okay, but my shrimp had little green currry sauce and was just average. An interesting thing is that they don't charge for drinks on Sunday - a savings of $4.00 per couple. You'll find good asian food here but if you're looking for something special, go elsewhere.

Had the chicken satay appetizer, it was cold and without any flavor. It was served with watered down yum-yum sauce that had no flavor. My entree was Mongolian beef, which was also cold. The only flavor it had was sugar. It was like they had just poured on simple syrup. There was not even a hint of any chinse seasoning. Go to Waffle House instead, you'll have much better food for half the price.

This place is one of my husbands go-to spots when I'm not cooking! The portions are LARGE. If we wish we can share a dish and be full. If we feel like different things it is great to have leftovers for lunch the next day. Servers have always been helpful if we want to try a new dish. We have had consistently good results in food quality, quantity, service, timelyness, and taste.

We arrived in Greenville fairly late and decided on take out. Red Bowl was fast and easy and the food was good. Very close to Home2suites, easy walk.

I used to go to the Pleasantburg location and had been several times but wasn’t a huge fan. One time I had a waiter trip and spill food all over my sweater, one time I witnessed a roach scurrying on the wall amidst the booths, and the prices were too high for all that considered. I was glad to see a new location open up, hoping it would be cleaner and I could once again enjoy happy hour. Happy hour is from 3-6:30 I think, and all apps and a lot of sushi is half price. To me these prices are much more palatable considering the chain nature of this place. I’ve been a few times since they opened and overall it’s been good. I’ve had a problem with waiters getting my order confused here and there, but they’re always good enough to fix it. My only issue is that you have to ask for a regular Booth because if you don’t and you go in there solo they seat you in one of two tiny booths that are separated from all the rest and right near the kitchen door and near the bathrooms. It feels like being punished for coming alone... so definitely if you go alone ask for a regular booth, I’ve never been during happy hour when it was busy enough to warrant being seated in “the corner”. I always have loved the pan fried potstickers and the Red Bowl Roll personally. Again, I wouldn’t go when it’s full priced, and honestly for the prices of the regular dishes I’d just opt to pay a few more bucks and go to PF Chang’s. But for a quick sushi roll or some appetizers, it’s worth stopping by.

My friend and I were there for dinner last weekend and I am utterly amazed on the food quality, the unbelievable big portion of the entrees and most of all how accommodating the staff was. We ordered 2 entrees and an appetizer to share. It was all under $24 and we had enough left over to indulge ourselves for a perfect lunch the next day. The best Singapore Rice Noodles you've ever find. I am from Hong Kong and I know my noodles!! :- )) Anyhow, they are offering Happy Hours from 3-6:30 pm EVERYDAY, sushi and the appetizers are 1/2 off.. if you like calamari try the salt and pepper calamari.. YUM!!

I like the restaurant located on Pelham Rd better than the one on Pleasantburg. It is a newer restaurant and is much nicer. The staff is very nice and the food is good.

Joined my colleagues for dinner here while in town on business. The service was excellent. The food was average, but maybe I ordered the wrong thing. What I ordered was good, but not great. I'll give them another try and ask for the chef's recommendation next time.

We have been here twice and both times we are seated immediately and are taken care of immediately. Food is great - but really too much and service is good!

The Red Bowl occupies the building that previously houses a Bellacino's Pizza place. I did not have the chance to check out the whole establishment having arrived during a busy dinner time. Under the previous business there, one side for seating was elevated but still open to the rest of the restaurant. Under the current set up that same area was (1) leveled to be like the rest of the restaurant, and (2) walled off. Being seated in this walled off area made the dining experience horrible for myself and the other person who dined with me. The noise from other diners - and I don't think they were necessarily overly loud - was magnified from the back part of this room towards the one opening to the rest of the place where we sat. I literally could not hear what the other person sitting across from me was saying. The food was tasty but we paid prices that would be more like those paid at a buffet and we only got the one servicing. On top of that all we received was the main dish. There was nothing additional such as an egg roll or soup. For this reason I marked the pricing as being moderate.
