I called Sara (owner) almost a year ago and she and Gentry were so easy to talk with and ask questions to. The week of the rehearsal dinner, she and Gentry kept me at ease that all would go well and it surpassed good. Everyone raved about the food, the service, the décor and it was so private. When people... More

It was important as I as meeting a friend for lunch that we have a quiet place with good food. This was a great choice for a variety of reasons. We chose salad with scoops of chicken salad, tuna salad and egg salad on it and really enjoyed it. It was not noisy and we were able to chat a... More

Brick Street is a lovely place to have lunch. Miss Sue's chicken salad is the best. The Sweet Potato cake is wonderful! Southern charm.

I went here for the first time on Saturday after a morning hike so we were starving! I got the chicken salad plate, which the waiter said was their most popular choice for lunch. I'm picky about chicken salad because I am not the biggest fan of mayonnaise, but this was so good. The love muffin was amazing and I... More

Went on a Saturday evening so could enjoy the live music they have. Parking was easy, and was seated immediately due to reservations made (There was no line, would have been seated fast anyway). Tables were well spaced and the room had an upscale ambiance to it - a great place for a couples. Had to wait until 7:30 for... More

Went for lunch with a friend, and the food was excellent. We had planned to spend $10-15 on the lunch (each), and didn't get out for that. We could have ordered cheaper offerings. On the whole, the food is good, but the neighborhood is grungy. The restaurant is across from the local high school and adjacent to railroad tracks. When... More

You're likely to see "le tout Greenville" at the Brick St Cafe. It's kind of the go-to place for lunch. Nice, extensive menu but I think people mostly go for the oddball, yet appealing, decor. It's a bit noisy and the service is nothing special, but it's a lot of eye candy to accompany mostly better than average food.

I ate here about 2 weeks ago with my family. We went for lunch after we biked the swamp rabbit. When we arrived I told them that we had 4 people ( we really had 5..my fault). Once I realized the mistake I told them we needed a bigger table. The lady literally looked at me like I just ruined... More

Loved the feel and atmosphere of the restaurant. Food was average. Service was average. I like that they have their own parking and that they take reservations which makes it a convenient place to eat when you have plans for other events in Greenville. I did not try their desserts this time, which are reported to be great, but I... More
