Started with cocktails, Moscow Mule and seasonal Sangria, both were a nice start to meal. We had read rave reviews on the Blue Crab Nachos, but found them to be very underwhelming (not sure what people were raving about?). Felt like a big plate of...chips with very little substance or taste. Should have definitely gone with one of the waitresses recommendations of BBQ Egg Rolls or Fried Green Tomatoes . Had the She Crab Soup and Sassafras Fried Chicken - both pretty good. Would return but definitely start with a different app - skip the blue crab nachos..More

Excellent southern food in downtown Greenville. The staff was very attentive and the food was spectacular. We had the salmon with lump crab on top, the grilled seafood trio, and collard greens. Loved everything!

Fantastic service and food! The she crab is to die for. We had the shrimp and grits and the scallops with risotto. Beyond yummy! Our server, Sara, was a wonderful server. Made our experience even better. Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I enjoyed dinner at this restaurant. Scallops were perfectly done and had excellent flavor. Crab topped mahi-mahi was also done very well with excellent flavor. Fried green tomato appetizer was very good. Atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Service was prompt and good...attention to detail.More

Wow -- what an amazing place. Loved all of the authentic entrees (never seen fried pickles before, or pulled pork egg rolls!) -- we arrived on Wine Wednesday -- 50% off all bottles -- highly recommended :) deserves its high rating on Trip Advisor --...we bought all kinds of stuff including wine and got out for just over $100 -- amazing . Definitely recommend the multi option catfishMore

My husband and I went to this restaurant for an anniversary dinner. The food was excellent--I had a trout special and he had mahi and we shared fried pickles and a special "winter sangria". The service was very good. I had asked for a quiet...table when I made the reservation and even though it was Friday night, the restaurant delivered. They also provided a free dessert for our anniversary. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a lovely time out.More

Unique take on seared tuna over grits which was fabulous, my husband also raved about his dish. Service was spot on and friendly. Look forward to going back soon.

Food was fantastic. Had pimento cheese dip, salads, and salmon/scallops. Scallops were so/so but the salmon was awesome. Had two drinks, pomegranate martini and rosemary margarita and they were so good. Great atmosphere, no wait for our table of two, great service. Would recommend.

This is a good restaurant but I think a bit overrated. The fried green tomatoes were a tad too thick and the pimento cheese was basically only on one tomato. Tasty though. The beef en croute had too much gorgonzola which overpowered the meal yet...still it was tasty. The service was very good and the atmosphere is okay. The bar area has two pretty stained glass windows which makes the atmosphere pleasant.More

We live an hour away and after our dinner, we both agreed that we had made a good decision to make the drive. My husband enjoyed the Ahi Tuna appetizer, and I enjoyed the best She Crab soup I have ever eaten! We both enjoyed...the scallops. The restaurant is very nice and our waitress, Brooke was the best! When I made the reservation for a Monday night dinner, the only option was a high-top table. Which is usually OK. However, the high-top table we were given was in a corner beside the bar – which meant that my “view” for the entire night was the brick wall about 5 feet way. About halfway through our meal, a very large loud group came in for drinks and because of where our table was located, one of the guys decided it was OK to lean on the back of my seat so he could talk to his buddies and then he proceeded to bump into me with no apology. Our amazing waitress came rushing over and rescued us! She asked the guys to move over to the bar and give us some space so we could enjoy our dinner. She offered us a free cocktail to make up for the guys being so rude and she also sent us away with complimentary desserts! We will be back. However, I think that management needs to re-think their decision to have a dining high-top table in the corner of the bar.More

I had dinner here with my parents on a Wednesday evening and although it was mid-week and right after Labor Day, the restaurant was bustling and we were glad we had made reservations! I had a salad with grilled salmon and the homemade garlic ranch...dressing was so good that I could have licked the bowl! My parents were both pleased with their entrees. Desserts were a little hit or miss….brownie and key lime pie were good, but the beignet with peaches and ice cream, which sounded amazing, were not that great. They were more like a fried hush puppy than a beignet and they were a little overcooked. But overall, it was a good meal and our server, Megan, was fantastic.More
