If you like Southwestern style food you will love this place. Nice decor and good service. Biggest issue is finding a parking space - you have to park quite a distance away - but it is worth it.

The BOGOs are over on Hilton Head, but if you can get to the Santa Fe Café in time for their early dining menu you'll find a good range of food in their 3 course $20.17 menu. The redfish was good, the service first rate. We left happy.

The ambience at Santa Fe is really neat. My wife and I appreciates the 2 floors and outdoor rooftop bar. The service was also better than average. The food fell a little flat. My wife always orders guacamole and queso. The guac was good but the queso and salsa were both bland. We also tried the quesadilla. The flavor was... More

I have to admit, I won't never forget the first dinner. It was excellent, the service great 👍 but a little pricey. Well, the last time, the service was poor, the food just ok but, still pricey. Next time, I will probably try the bar, I won't recommend the second floor. Not sure if I will go back but, who... More

The ambiance was really cool, especially the roof top bar with fireplace. Our service was good, but the food was nothing to write home about.

My husband and I enjoyed an excellent beautifully presented dinner here. The painted desert soup had wonderful flavor and was well presented. My husband said his Grouper was the best he has ever eaten. We will definitely return here for another dinner.

People ask me all the time, "where do the locals go out to eat?" Santa Fe Cafe is a locals favorite, always considered a Top 10 restaurant. We reserved a rooftop table (no elevator) and ate under the stars for my wife's Birthday. There was a Spanish singer playing guitar just for the rooftop diners and those at the rooftop... More

Just returned from dinner. We had the chicken fajita ($24) and combo ($19). The chicken was grilled, dry with no taste of any fajita seasoning. It came in bigger pieces rather than thin slices to put in shells. One of the pieces was a chicken wing. The combo was very plain, The chili relieno was heavily breaded with little taste,... More

We decided to try Santa Fe Cafe for Valentine's. There are two levels to the restaurant, and we were seated in the front room downstairs. Nice wooden table and rustic chairs. The lighting was just the right level. Conversation was easy--not a noisy place. We walked upstairs to see the outside eating area. Very, very nice, and we will request... More

The painted soup (corn and roasted pepper) is beautiful and tasty with a great variety of flavors and textures. I also had the Vegetarian combo plate which again was a beautiful and flavorful dish with a sweet tamale, a wild mushroom enchilada and a chile relleno filled with goat cheese. Also a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Description
We bring the very best of Southwestern culture and cuisine home to the Lowcountry. Our menu has been an Islanders" preferred dining spot for over 20 years and with dishes like our famous grouper, to our bone-in cowboy cut black angus ribeye, our outrageous chimichanga to even lobster fajitas, we're sure to have a new favorite waiting for you. From the sounds of the live Ranchero guitar player to the smells rising from our mesquite grill, Santa Fe Cafe is a much welcomed reprieve for the senses. Even when you're outside underneath the stars on our Rooftop Cantina, we've got you covered.
