This restaurant is right on the water and a great way to just relax and enjoy a meal. The Red Fish was very tender and moist, very fresh Asparagus, it was absolutely wonderful. Our server was VAL, she has great customer service skills and very attentive. We would go back again and want Val as our server.
When you go to the Sea Pines Resort, make sure you have cash to get in because you'll have to pay $9. The person taking the reservation did not say it was $9 to get in nor you needed cash to do so.

Would recommend making a reservation for dinner as this place fills up fast. We had dinner on the patio which is right off the beach. The restaurant is inside Sea Pines so you have to pay the $9 gate fee if you aren’t staying there, but if you bring the parking tag into the restaurant, your server will give you a $9 credit on your food bill. We enjoyed the scallops, seafood sofrito, the Amberjack special, and the lobster Mac ‘n’ Cheese. All very good.

Lovely setting. We were a bit put off by the $9 fee to enter the grounds & a guard who did mot know the procedure for getting reimbursed at the restaurant. After traveling for over 7 hours to get there, we had to wait a considerable amount of time at the host stand while 3 people helped a woman negotiate increasing the size of her dining party.
My husband asked the waitress if certain beer selections were bottled and received a response of “we don’t got no bottles, we’re on a beach.” Besides the grammar, it was a weird response with all the other glass bottles & glassware on display.
Found the menu to be fussy, dishes described were overly sauced & prepared and pricey. No side salad available with an entree? No sides included at all unless you ordered the fish. Rice or a vegetable for $6???
We had crab cakes and a shrimp pasta, both a bit spicy which wasn’t noted on the menu. Our bowls were literally dumped in front of us by the runners with no underplate. I asked if there was bread available and was told I could buy toastinis with crab dip for $14. My shrimp was overcooked, rubbery & small.
Server disappeared to attend to outside tables for long stretches of time. Disappointing experience that we were looking forward to after a long day of traveling. Should & could have been much, much better.

My friends and I had an unforgettable dining experience at Coast this evening! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by a fantastic hosts who made sure we were comfortably seated at two large tables to accommodate our group of 20 with waters for all of us. Our servers, Gatam from India and Moni from NJ were absolutely top-notch. They were not only friendly but incredibly knowledgeable, helping us navigate the new menu and suggesting shareable appetizers that were perfect for our group.
The food was incredible. We couldn’t get enough of the shrimp nachos, Cuba Libra short rib, and the seafood sofrito. The desserts were the perfect sweet finish to our meal.
The best part? Despite our large party, the pricing was very reasonable. We felt like we got great value for such high-quality food and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back and will absolutely come again for another amazing experience!

We have dined at Coast twice now, both last summer and this summer. The view is TRULY superb. There’s not many places in Hilton Head where you can sit ON the beach! It’s a beautiful restaurant! Both times we dined there, I would say the food was average to good, but nothing spectacular, especially for the price that you pay. We felt that it was overpriced for the product that you receive. This past time, I was charged $6 for a San Pellegrino without being told the sparkling water costs (many restaurants offer you carbonated water for free). We will most likely skip Coast next time due to the prices, as we feel like we can get a better value elsewhere. On the plus side, they will reimburse your Sea Pines gate fee if you spend at least $25 on food and have your receipt! They also gave us a free dessert for our anniversary, which was very kind!
Overall, it’s a beautiful place and we are glad that we tried it; however, I do not think it will be a yearly return trip for us.

First the positives, loved the outdoor seating and the patio. I will say however that we were seated next to large tables against the windows and the sound from those tables was so loud, we had a hard time talking to each other. I would suggest being seated further out on the patio if you wish to talk during dinner. The wine prices were also very reasonable.
We found the food to just be ok. We shared the calamari, corn crab soup both of which were nothing special. The La Plancha corvina was tasty but a bit dry. The grits were not creamy at all. The most disappointing thing about the evening was the service. It wasn't a particularly busy night during the week and our waiter appeared at our table 4 times in the course of a 2 hour dinner.
Add to that, the $9 fee you have to pay to enter Sea Pines (if you are not staying in this area) and it just wasn't worth it for us. There are better options on Hilton Head. We had a second reservation at Coast for later in the week and cancelled it.

We were celebrating my birthday and our wedding anniversary. The food was spectacular. I had the crusted salmon and my husband had the braised beef short ribs and my son had a hamburger with fries. The view and atmosphere were amazing and peaceful. Our waiter Jorge was very attentive and informative with the menu and the restaurant. We had an amazing g experience and are so thankful that we selected Coast for an amazing oceanfront dining experience.

Came here for drinks with some girlfriends and had such a good time! Monica was our server and she was amazing, she recommended we try the bees knees cocktail and it was my favorite part of the whole dinner, delicious yet not too sweet. Overall, had a great experience with wonderful service, I look forward to coming back!

Friends and I came into Coast for dinner this evening and we were greeted by a great host and got two big tables that accommodated our party of 20 people. Our servers, Monica and Gautam were very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us decide on entrées and good shareable appetizers for our table. We were able to try the new Coast menu too. Our favorites were the empanadas, the lobster bisque, as well as the Lobster macaroni and cheese. I got the old one too to drink, and it was strong and flavorful. We also really like the coconut cake for dessert and the Keylime pie. Overall, the price was very reasonable for parties as large as ours. We will definitely be back in request them again.

Coast offered my family a chef perfected 5 course meal alongside a beautiful, oceanfront setting within Sea Pines Resort. Top notch service and chef perfection pretty much sums up this restaurant. Our favorite dish, “Oysters Rockfeller.”

My husband and I love Coast Ocean Lounge . It’s always a pleasure to be welcomed by William, served by Leona and Chuck. It is a small space, so we get very personalized attention.
The food is always delicious and fresh. There is a full bar and whiskey menu.
I recommend the blackened redfish or any fresh fish as an entree.
The crispy brussel sprouts and tuna poke nachos are great appetizers.
You can’t go wrong any time of the year.

I really don’t like writing a negative review but I feel I must given that our family was so disappointed and we ended up ordering in after we were all dressed up that night. I booked this reservation well in advance for dinner after being in HH for Thanksgiving with our entire family. I have to say the restaurant was very busy and we were seated in a well traveled area )a booth right as you walked in) and when the waitress was at servicing our table she had to move aside for people to come by every time. As much as we were patient, We just felt the service was lacking in that our waters were not getting refilled timely and finally after a long period got to order apps (they didn’t take that long and were fine) but we just couldn’t get our dinner ordered because of the very slow service. Our waitress was busy so I’m not sure if this is a waitstaff issue or really what the problem was but we decided to leave and so my husband went up and paid at the bar because again nobody came by our table. The real thing that bothered me was that a gentleman came out and asked if we walked out on the bill! I was so offended by this and honestly we are a very well traveled family that are foodies. After reflecting on this, im sorry we went for dinner and wish we would have came for lunch and the view because given in the winter at dinner time there is no view because of the darkness. I really hope that we get to try this again for lunch, for we Love HH and all the amazing restaurants. Sorry to leave this review but it was supposed to be a special dining experience for our family and I felt I let my family down with this one.

Coast has Amazing food. I got the Blackened Shrimp Nachos and my hubby got the Swordfish sandwich. Best of all was our server, VAL, she is Awesome. She made sure our food came out hot and kept our drinks full and always checked on us. Best service ever.
