Acme's was a great place to eat. The food was very good as we had crab dip, a filet, and shrimp and grits. After seeing lots of reviews about the service being slow, I was hesitant, but we sat outside on the patio and 3...More

We visited Acme with great expectations due to the reviews. Good selection of craft beers although not on tap. Wine and cocktails were fine. She crab soup was not close to top notch as I had several spoonfuls with crab shell bits in them. On...More

This is my first time at this restaurant, but I am so glad that my husband and I tried it! I had pimento cheese grits (so creamy and tangy) with traditional Eggs Benedict , but asked for it to be served over a biscuit instead...More

This local restaurant takes great pride not only in using quality local seafood (they tell you where it comes from), but in the unique presentations, with nightly specials. The service is excellent. Well worth the money and wait.

Food was excellent. The only thing that stopped me from giving this a higher rating was the price of a bowl of She Crab soup at $10. Everything else was very reasonable, food was excellent and portions were good size.

Had lunch here. Don't be put off by the outside appearance. I had blackened shrimp and sausage over grits. Excellent flavor. My wife had a pecan glazed shrimp poboy sandwich. It was OK but at $15, way over priced.

The restaurant seems suitable for children. When my wife and I were there, there were plenty of families with kids of all ages. There was a kid's menu, but I don't remember how extensive it was with choices.

Acme Lowcountry Kitchen specializes in local seafood, if we cannot source it locally it is sourced off the East Coast of the USA! We do not serve seafood from any other area. We of course never serve any imported seafood. We truly believe in supporting American Fishermen and Shrimpers!
