I've been going to Stone Soup for several years. As a soup lover I usually go there for the soups -- which, by the way, are always fresh, unique and delicious. Stone Soup also does a great job with sandwiches. They, like the soup, are varied, eclectic and very good. The ambiance is "horses" as Landrum is a horse town.... More

We came here for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious, the atmosphere romantic, and our server was personable. They even brought out a peach dessert as a treat for us! This restaurant will become part of our Landrum tradition!

We were gifted a dinner for two purchased at an auction to benefit the Boy Scouts of America. We entered this rather rustic looking building to be pleasantly surprised by a very classy dining room, actually rooms. There were many equestrian themed photos on the wall, but they added to the upscale feeling of the room. We totally enjoyed our... More

We had the nicest dining experience here! The food was so fresh and delicious, we wanted seconds but were too full. The staff was outstanding--we conversed with several throughout the lunch, and they were polite and helpful. We learned a lot about the history of the area and equestrian emphasis of the restaurant. The decor was gorgeous framed pictures of... More

The owners and staff were very personable and friendly. The food was awesome. The interior was clean and well decorated with lots of horse competition pictures on the walls from the patrons. A real gem. Loved it.

My quesadilla was delicious, and my friends enjoyed their salad and specialty burger! The dining room was full of patrons, but our order came to our table in a timely manner. The shade trees on the grounds provided a visually soothing background on that hot summer day as we gazed out the large windows. The fresh pastry offerings are a... More

My wife & I were hungry and thirsty after a long day driving. We stopped at 'Stone Soup' due to the unique name and were pleasantly surprised by the horse-riding decor inside and the warm greeting that we received. The lunch & dinner menu selections were interesting and creative. Our chicken-pasta & trout-grill choices were both creatively prepared and a... More

My husband and I had lunch today at Stone Soup and were extremely disappointed in the food. The grilled salmon ordered by my husband did not appear to be fresh. Whatever the case, it was dry, overcooked, and virtually tasteless. The mixed vegetables and beets that came with the salmon were also tasteless, and were no better than one would... More

Wow. I'm so sorry that was your experience. It certainly is not the one we want our guests to get. The quality of our food is superior and always fresh but based upon what you said, I will check with the kitchen about being over cooked. We get our seafood in twice a week and produce every day. Our shrimp... More
