I saw Buckshots on the internet before our vacation, and I'm so glad that they had their moment in the sun on Bizarre Foods of America. It was a great stopping point between the Charleston airport and our vacation spot in Surfside, SC. We felt under dressed when we entered, everyone inside appeared to have come directly from church and... More

I've never been to Buckshot's and not be pleased with the food. Great southern style cooking and I always eat too much! I'm glad I dont live close or I'd be bugger than a house. Great food and friendly homey service!

We travel to McClellanville just for their buffet every so often, so this is a several times a year visit. The buffet is reasonably priced and they have plenty of tables if you look in the back. Get a chicken breast on your first trip to the buffet table, because you will want a slice of roast beef or ham,... More

My husband, a guest, and I stopped here heading back to Mt. Pleasant after visiting Hampton Plantation. We were hungry and there are not many places along the way, and when we saw the "Restaurant" sign, we pulled into the parking lot. I was a little put off by the name of the restaurant, but again, we were hungry! From... More

to be honest, its the ONLY spot of its kind for MILES....and I mean country miles...LOL They typically offer a buffet selection of items ranging from different meats & sides. During our trip, they made a FRESH batch of chicken and had us WAIT for it. My, was it worth the wait. They had a few different options of veggies---(squash,... More

My significant other and I stopped there on our way back to Charleston from Myrtle Beach (09/19/2015). This was my second visit, the third for her. Last year she enlisted Buckshots to do the catering for her family reunion and they're still raving about it. On my first visit I was a little skeptical and couldn't fandom eating from a... More

It was tasty. I was there on a Sunday and it seems a local favorite for those coming after church. Being from out of town, I didn't know the process for the buffet which was pay for what it weighs! So I got mine to go and mom got gets dine in, she then had the ability to make endless... More

Good southern cooking! Liked variety of food. Had to wait quite a while for more fish after they ran out.
