This is a little quaint dive to visit for fun. I had a delicious hot dog with sauerkraut. It's a very casual place with a fun theme.

If you travel near Charleston, DEFINITELY make the drive on 17N to Jack's Cosmic Dogs! Fifteen eclectic mixes to choose from or make you own...the blue cheese cole slaw is not just a game changer, it's a life changer!!! Fresh cut fries cooked perfectly and...More
While visiting Charleston, we decided to eat lunch at a little place that was suggested by a friend called Jack's Cosmic Dogs. After driving through the beautiful town of Mount Pleasant, we found it and parked in the back. I could tell by they yard...More
The atmosphere and commitment to theme is commendable...like something out of a 60s-era comic book. Any space-themed restaurant has to have Tang...and they do! Jack's looks both out of place and time...better suited on the fringes of a Martian desert. But for a place specializing...More
We were rushed for time, so it was a bittersweet moment to see a nearly full lot and a line out the screen-door. Atmosphere was 80's with robots; I was hoping Tom Servo would take my order. Service was quick, however, and the hot dog...More

not much from the outside, but a delicious dog with any accompaniments that you wish... ask for a grilled dog - they taste much better - their blue cheese coleslaw is awesome...their fries - the thin shoestring kind are better than the burger joint that...More
We had read so many good things we had some high expectations but left disappointed and with empty pockets. First the process is a bit strange....you place your order, but don't pay, then when your order is ready (and hot) then they total it up...More
Way more than "dogs"....and a local establishment. Everything we've had to eat has been great. Of course, there are all kinds of "dogs" in all kinds of ways, but there's also the choices of chicken (Biffs is amazing), meatloaf, and vegetarian items, plus a variety...More
Stopped in for an easy dinner. The dining room reminded me of something from the 80's but it grew on me. The dogs were good but the fries were better. Will go back.
