A bartender suggested dinner at Drunken Jack's along 'Restaurant Row' near Murrell's Inlet and Pawley's Island.. The brass front doors should have been a clue. The atmosphere was an attempt at classy, with brass railings and a view of the marsh. The bartender also advised...More

Friends had a drink or two at the bar before we strolled on the walkway. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and personable. Very comfortable bar and fresh popped popcorn. Yum!

The hushpuppies here are delicious with the honey butter they serve. The salad bar is very cold and fresh. I had the sirloin and it was perfectly cooked and very tender. I wish I had saved room for dessert. The views here are great if...More

The ahi tuna is just amazing. Best sauce I've every had, they make all their dressings and sauces in house. You sadly cannot buy them at a store. Worth the wait!!

The oysters on the half shell were briny, large, great tasting and magnificent. How's that. The stuffed flounder was good. The ambiance was special along the inlet was quieting, relaxing as the boats would go by the table. It was an enjoyable two different nights.

I don’t remember them being on the menu when we were there but soft shell also need to be in season. Typically in the South that runs from about mid April to September.
