Great area of North Charleston (Park Circle) near a theater venue we were going to. Had eaten in their other establishment in I'on, which was fair. Decided to give it another try. With a party of 5 and got a table rather quickly for a...More

Local place in a cool spot called Park City. Stopped in for a dinner with a friend while in town. The atmosphere is what I would call old school Italian. It is cozy and quaint. I ordered the chicken piccata which was excellent. We shared...More

This was our first trip to Charleston. Our hotel recommended the restaurant and their shuttle drove us there. We chose to eat outside because a party of 10-12 inside was very rowdy. We'd expect that in a bar but not in a restaurant. We would...More

Coming from New York and being a frequent traveler to Italy, I'm a bit of an Italian food snob (I also believe you can't get a good bagel outside NYC, but that's another story :)). I was surprised how good the food was here. It's...More

Pleasant atmosphere and excellent service but we thought the meal was just average. Interesting that the rave reviews are predominately from the local surrounding area while my wife is Italian and we're from the Northeast where the expectations are obviously quite higher .

Excellent food, relaxing atmosphere and excellent service. I would highly suggest this restaurant in Park Circle area of North Charleston rather than going downtown Charleston.

Four of us had reservations, which were confirmed the day of our visit, but when greeted at the door we learned the reservation was never recorded, so we were offered an undesirable bar height table near the bar. Our party member that had confirmed the...More

Noted the comment review where there was a dog at the bar??? Is that something that you allow? Indoors? We would like a nice Italian dinner but do not want animals inside. Thank you

Fratellos Italian Tavern is an American Italian restaurant located in Mount Pleasant in the I'On Community, featuring Italian comfort cuisine with a menu driven by local seasonal ingredients and a homestyle feel. The word Fratello in Italian refers to fraternity or brother. It is this bond that our proprietor Richard Tuorto and Chef Kevin Bruntz had in mind when they shared favorite family recipes to create a unique dining experience.
