Stopped by for a second visit while traveling and it was even better than I remembered. The pork trifecta is what pizza is supposed to be! Already trying to figure out when I can travel back this way just for the pizza!

Enjoyed the freshest salad with the most unique melt in your mouth pistachio pesto pizza. Delicious! I would recommend it. You have a choice of dining in or out and there is a neat bakery in the back with heavenly baked items.

We literally stayed walking distance from this pizzeria. Great pizza using fresh ingredients. I had the white pizza and some salad. The place is small and gets busy, but we were seated within about 10 minutes. There's a bakery associated with the pizzeria next door which we plan on trying. They also sell chocolates. Their sous chef decided to learn... More

Tried this place after seeing it ranked #3 on TA for North Charleston. It's fabulous! Great pizza, atmosphere and cute town. The Pistachio Pesto pizza is wonderful and our 10-year-old son raves about the calzone. Nice beer selection too. Highly recommend!

So Evo Pizza is a great little hangout. The ingredients are so fresh and the staff is extremely nice. Also, in the back of Evo Pizza is Evo Craft, which has THE MOST DELICIOUS BREAD you can imagine. The sandwiches are delicious with fresh ingredients.

This place has some real good food. It was crowed and took a while to get our food. It was worth the wait. Looking forward to eating there again.

Is there anything better than the Pork Trifecta? I think not!! Always enjoy the moving selection of drafts. I can get something that I have never tried before each time I visit. Need to visit again soon.

A very good experience. The food and service was outstanding! Very good neighborhood feel. The fried olives were really good, but the pizza stole the show!

A friend and I went to EVO for dinner on a Monday evening. It's a casual and comfortable restaurant. We started with a salad and both had pizza. Service was good and the food was delicious. Overall, this is a fun and tasty neighborhood pizza place I would definitely recommend.

Thank Cory P

EVO (Extra Virgin Oven) Pizzeria is the wood-fired dream of Matt McIntosh and Ricky Hacker. Matt and Ricky met while working in the illustrious kitchen at FIG in downtown Charleston in 2003. The pair spent the better part of a year forming the concept for a wood-fired pizza shop that would focus on local ingredients. In 2005 they flew the coop to start EVO. The first incarnation was a mobile wood-fired pizza oven - in other words, a fancy trailer - that they used for catering. Turns out, people really like fancy trailer pizza. It became apparent that the concept was ready for a brick & mortar restaurant, and they found a perfect home on East Montague Avenue in North Charleston, part of the up-and-coming Park Circle area. In 2007, EVO Pizzeria fired up its ovens for the public, and hasn't stopped since. We come to work at EVO every day to bring fun, delicious food and drink to our community. We source locally and regionally because we're proud to be here. We cook with love because we love to cook. And who doesn't love pizza?
