We followed the reviews to find this bakery while passing through Pawleys Island in Feb 2023. We tried the pecan, chocolate chess and lemon gingerbread. The crust is flaky, light and very thin allowing the pie filling to truly shine. We feel we've never had...a better pecan pie. Not so over sweet as many are but a light caramel creamy syrup surrounding the pecans. The chess pie had the same delicious crust with a chocolate filling that seems almost like an uncooked brownie but with a lightness more of pudding ....delightful! The lemon pie we felt could have been a stronger lemon flavor and the gingerbread crust was just right and a nice thickness. We are so glad we stopped!More

We love their cookies, we always get a dozen or so and we can all eat on them throughout our vacation week! Love perusing the store too and akways get some palmetto rice to take home!

Outstanding customer service. Stacey and Amanda go above and beyond. Best wine selection. Kudzu sets the standard for shopping local. Run don't walk to Kudzu for all they have to offer.

Wow, what happen to this wonderful place. Have never dealt with such a rude staff (cashier) person here. Plus the cake I bought had thick layers of heavy frosting and thin layers of dried out cake! Could not tell that the cake would be such...a disappointment when I bought it. Really terrible product! Between the ridiculous raise in prices, the rudeness and lousy attitude that they are doing you a favor plus a stale and inferior product — I’m done with this place.More

Great little find. A little pricey & mostly worth it. Cinnamon rolls were delicious. Muffins ended up being muffin tops & were a little under done. Pie delicious but could have used a little less sugar.

I love the food here BUT BUT BUT most of the staff has attitude. Every time I go in there, and it’s a lost, seems they are inconvenienced if you have a question or need help

We look forward to getting the Tuna Fish, Egg Salad, and Chicken Salad sandwiches whenever we are nearby! Nice gifts and baked goods, plus wines that are cheaper than at the Bi-Lo nearby.

Just do yourself a favor and GO there. The baked goods display, as you enter the door, says it all. We went there for the Cinnamon roll and, $40 dollars later we were carrying bags full of goodies out the door!!!! Outstanding flavor and freshness!!!!!

Delicious cakes, pies, cookies and bread. The yellow cake with darker chocolate icing was high quality but not my favorite nor was the also delicious coconut chess pie (just personal taste). But the chocolate pecan cake, with a medium chocolate cake and sweet chocolate icing...and pecan nibbles was definitely for me. The batard was crispy on the bottom but chewy. And we also had to return for the pimiento cheese spread to go with it - deep red pepper flavor with just a hint of pepper heat. BF went for the sugar cookies, me the chocolate chip shortbread. On a nice day we ate on a bench around the corner overlooking the pond.More

Browsing online I came across a Fodor's review that named this bakery as one of the five best food spots in Myrtle Beach and the Strand. The description of the Key Lime Pie made me check it out and it was absolutely divine. The iced...butter ghost cookies were also sublime. Wine, market and bakery with a key lime pie that rocks.More

Great for sandwiches, freshly made jarred foods, pastas, and some outstanding desserts. Also a wine store attached and some pretty good prices.

My friend and I picked this spot for a casual lunch date. The food was very delicious and we enjoyed sitting by the window and talking. We are definitely going to come back. Thank you for having such a unique niche in the perfect place...for visitors. We will be back and the next time we will purchase some cookbooks and cooking utensils and maybe some wine.More

I think this place is more popular with the wine drinkers than anyone else. They do have baked goods and local foods. We had cookies and ate inside. I don’t recommend the cookies because they’re dry. The pies looked good.

I have never had anything that was not wonderful. The fresh bakery item but remember to look in the freezer section. Cheese biscuits, shrimp dip, crab dip I can never leave without them
