The buffet features a number of southern favorites such as crispy fried chicken, stewed tomatoes, green beans, and banana pudding! All the entrees were tasty! However, if you are looking for a health conscious eatery, best to look elsewhere.

Nice quick friendly service. Decent prices. That's about it. Food is not good, at all. Prepackaged cafeteria style food. Everything out of a can or box.

My husband, brother-in-law and I decided to go to Dyar's last Sunday after church. We are familiar with the restaurant, but live about 20 miles away and don't always think about Dyar's when we are hungry. We were not disappointed!! I was delighted to see that they had two of my favorites on the buffet - chicken livers and stewed... More

Wife dropped by work so we could go to brunch. Found this place on TA and gave it a try. They were swapping from breakfast to lunch. Breakfast is by menu and lunch is meat and three. We opted for breakfast and it was quite good with generous portions. We'll be going back to try lunch.

I'm sure a lot of people love this place, but not me! I had baked chicken, which was well seasoned, but it was one of those funny cuts where you get some of the ribs and back, but not much meat. the steamed veggies and green beans were cooked to mush and full of margarine. The greens were not much... More

I try and stop by Dyars at least once a week for breakfast. It's almost like eating at home. The servers are always friendly, the food comes fast and it's consistently good. You can always find someone to talk with the coffee is hot. If you stay too long you can get in the lunch line!

We love this restaurant! There are so many delicious choices and the staff is very friendly! My favorite is the fried chicken, moist and crisp! Don't forget the soft serve ice cream to go with the different cobblers.

I've eaten at Dyar's about three times since I moved to Pendleton. The food has always been good. I've ordered take out trays once and I've eaten in twice. The fried chicken is very good. I also like the meat loaf. The turkey and dressing is tasty. Most of the vegetables are southern style and have a good taste. I'm... More

I'm not sure how I missed out on this place the entire time I've worked at Clemson! The macaroni and cheese tastes just like my aunt's, and the chicken right out of the fryer tastes close to my mom's. The tea is sweet and the staff is friendly. We'll definitely go back.

Dyar's was a disappointment. I use to go to cafeterias with my grandmother. I have good memories of that. Dyar's menu is limited and reminded me of a school cafeteria (which is not a good memory). The food seemed like it was probably bought frozen, heated and served. I had the chicken which was bland. The servers are nice but... More
