Decided to try this restaurant after seeing all the billboard ads while driving to Florida! Glad we did. Beautiful artwork and gift shop greeted us when we walked in. Loved the ambiance and our waitress was charming. Husband had the chicken salad sandwich, which he...loved as it had curry and cranberries mixed in....delicious. I had the blue cheese, cranberry salad which was a generous size for lunch. Perfect. Would love to stay at the Inn next time we go through and will definitely go back for lunch or dinner.More

The CLARK'S INN is a local historic icon which has stood like a gem among the encroaching hustle and bustle of the "modern " world. It is an absolutely marvelous repite for anyone heading north or coming south on the I-95! I have not had...the pleasure of staying here (their Bed & Breakfast stay packages look reasonable) but every chance I get I stop to stroll through their fascinating gift shop, beautiful old hallways and relish in their antique dining areas. The bar had the friendly and efficient PAM (THANKS!!!) who brought out a delicious chicken salad sandwich on a crispy ciabatta bun. This filled me up and I could only have a bit of the delicious APPLE CRISP which I finished later from my take-away box.(THANK YOU CHEF and the kitchen staff!!!) SO happy this place has survived all these years, and especially after the COVID problems. If you are ever in the area I seriously suggest you treat yourself.More

Clark's Inn in a great alternative to chain hotels and subpar chain restaurants. The rooms are clean, bright, and homey and the bed was comfortable. Climate control worked well. But the best part is Clark's Restaurant. We sat in the pub and enjoyed an excellent...meal in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Just what you need after a long day on the road (heading home from Florida to MA). This will be our new go-to for the annual Florida trip. Parked right outside the door. Friendly front desk. Reasonable rates.More

If you're in the area, this place is worth seeking out. Excellent food, comfortable colonial style decor (we asked to be seated in the dining room rather than the bar). I had the fried chicken, my wife the honey salmon. Large portions, reasonable prices. But...the bad news is that our superb server Elexiz told us she was leaving to pursue a career in nursing. Clark's loss will be the medical industrial complex's gain.More

Our party of four dined here on Feb. 24, 2024. There are a few dining choices in this immediate area. We dined here a couple of years ago , so we returned. We were shown our seats right away. Restaurant was very clean. Rest rooms...were clean. Menu was one page with many choices. We ordered the Calabash platter, Honey salmon, Low country stir fry and the shrimp and grits. Everyone was happy with their food. I was very happy with the Low county stir fry. Excellent ! Our server was very very busy so the service was slow. The restaurant was moderately busy. When time for the bill, there is a notice on the bill that if paid by credit card, there is a surcharge . Mine was $3.63. This surcharge should be disclosed on the menu or before the bill arrives. I was not pleased how long it took to get my debit card returned to me. Waiter being very busy is a reason, but for me not acceptable. We really enjoyed our food and we would recommend this restaurant.More

My wife and I had lunch here and it was excellent . The Clarks Inn has been serving great food since 1946 so they must be doing something right. Located in a beautiful old mansion ( right off I-95 ) that has been turned into...a stately Inn. The people working here epitomize gracious southern hospitality . Our server Jason was very attentive and made accommodating suggestions ( my wife has a gluten allergy ) . The food was homemade with fresh ingredients and truly delicious . The desserts are incredible and I highly recommend the Pecan pie prepared by an awesome pastry chef who has been wowing customers for decades .More

Clark’s is right off the highway between other businesses on a busy road but you feel like you’ve stepped into a quieter world when you enter. It’s a lovely inn and we had a delicious lunch. Friendly and professional hostess and waiter. We visited the...gift shop which has a nice selection of high quality items, many local. We learned the inn is now run by the second dnd third generation of Clarks - the youngest is the chef who is quite skilled as we experienced! We are already planning a return trip to stay overnight in one of their guest rooms.More

I like this restaurant and would have given it more stars but their fried chicken was dry (over cooked.) I debated on having this as we were heading to Florida and I knew I'd be getting some Publix Fried Chicken but I like fried chicken...so I ordered it anyway. I is somewhat my fault I should have sent it vut I didn't. My wife had the oysters and was very happy with it.More

Due to the uptick in Covid we ordered takeout to eat in our hotel. My husband ordered fried oysters which came with cole slaw which he detests. They graciously substituted grits and green beans instead. I had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green...beans. It was a very good meal and we look forward to dining inside on a future trip.More

One of the very few times trip advisor has let me down. Traveling south, I decided to have a good dinner and asked for suggestions from the hotel manager. I looked on Trip Advisor and they recommended this location with its great fried chicken. Sounded...good to me. Fried chicken was good, but not great. It was served piping hot. The mashed potato side, sadly was cold. Service was very friendly, but not necessarily efficient or attentive. I ordered the pecan pie “ made fresh daily”, and was disappointed with a very undercooked pie crust Location is convenient, atmosphere is welcoming, food was ok, but not exceptional.More

I booked this hotel for its location and nice restaurant from the reviews I read online. The location of the hotel was just off Exit 98 of Interstate 95 and the room was very nice. I had a nice meal in their restaurant out front....The cheesecake dessert was delicious. The shower head in the bathroom was not working properly and the bathroom floor in one corner was very sticky. The free breakfast offer is a nice touch. I would recommend this place to a friend.More
