Food was so good. I had the crab cake. So fresh! My husband had the bayou pasta with shrimp and loved it. We had several apps (crab dip was delish) and everything others had in our party looked amazing. Everyone was happy with their meal. We did wait quite a while for our food to be prepared, but it was... More

Great choice of beers, over 100. Service was a little slow as there was only one waiter for about 30 people. Fresh oysters on the half shell are great. Shrimp and grits was ok, I have had better grits in St Louis.

The food is awesome! I have found that we get better & quicker service when we sit at bar. When seated at a table, seems like they forget your there. Worth eating at but hopefully we just had a couple of bad nights to sit at table. Food is great! Bar tenders are awesome too.

First time at PO House. We weren't super hungry so we got tacos...husband had the lobster mango and I had the blackened shrimp. Both came with crab chips. Everything was delicious. We shared a key lime pie in a mason jar for dessert - only disappointment...was like someone took a piece of pie and shoved it in a jar. We... More

Staff is very friendly and food is amazing! Asked the bartender for recommendations on a new beer was NOT disappointed with the results which is rare. I will definitely go back and they are a must try for any visitor in the area and don't forget to try the alligator cheesecake!

Just two girls house shopping for a military move to Sumter for my friend's family. We loved it here and the most wonderful guy Joe as our server. We will go back to see him and so glad the food was fantastic too. We started with bacon wrapped scallops-yum with our beer. The beer menu was handed to us on... More

This is my wife's favorite Sumter restaurant, and one of my favorites. Probably my only complaint is that they have no fried potatoes, just raw fries, which I do not like. Having said that, the atmosphere is fun, the appetizers are great and the service is outstanding.

My father-in-law was in town and we wanted to treat him to lunch. We decided on the PO House since we had not tried it yet, but had heard good things about the restaurant. We came for lunch and it was not busy at all so we were seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and the menu was varied.... More

I have eaten here several times. I usually eat here when I am in this area. I had fried oysters and shrimp, steamed shrimp, red potatoes, corn and iced tea. All were delicious. Had a problem when food first arrived but the owner quickly addressed it. A good choice.

This is a great casual restaurant. They have a large selection of beers, and Christian will help you pick out something new to go with your taste. Variety of food including seafood. Affordable prices
