The meal that I ordered, fried chicken, mac & cheese, collards, was rather bad. The fried chicken tasted like it had been cooked over a week ago and reheated. Man, it was horrible. The mac and cheese was bland as all get out. The collards were decent. My lunch date, who had the same meal as I did, said that... More

In the South when you ask for fish and grits its usually fish nuggets BUT, the deeper you go South you get this. Entire filet of catfish AND this plate cost me less then $10 including a drink!!!!! Fish was cooked perfect!!!! So glad the locals came through for a great suggestion....

This place serves typical southern fare. We went for brunch and they have the normal pancakes, biscuits, gravy, omelets, etc. The food was good and pretty cheap. Our waitress was very nice and provided us with excellent service. This place does not serve alcohol, so don't expect any bloody marys or mimosas. Other than that, I'd recommend it.

We found the place because of Trip Advisor and I'm glad we did. My kind of breakfast place..... really good food, kind of eclectic, generous portions and reasonable prices. I loved breakfast here.

When we go out, we want to relax and be waited on (we are both handicapped). Our waitress was repeatedly asked for butter and coffee but just would not bring stuff to our table. She kept going to the bar and talking with other staff. My husband uses crutches and I use a cane. Each time, I had to get... More

Stellar, friendly reception from start to finish. I ordered the biscuits & sausage gravy and as an after thought when the waitress asked me, "Is that all?" I got scrambled eggs, too. What a surprise when the biscuits arrived and it was more than enough for a full meal. The eggs were delicious, the biscuits & gravy was very good,... More

This greasy spoon does a great job doing what they should all do: making you feel like you are at home. The help is always friendly and funny. The fry cooks are having fun. The food is good (but you have to fix the gravy). Regular breakfast stop for us.

This is a little diamond in the rough for me. It's close by home and work. I go there about once a week for breakfast (served all day)and lunch. The people are friendly, joke around with you, and just seem happy! The food is definitely "southern" and if you don't like fried food or bacon, then it might not be... More

I ate there for my first time a few weeks ago. The country fried steak was a bit rubbery, but the mac & cheese and fried okra were on point! I was hoping to try the fried green tomatoes, but they were out. :( I will need to go again to see how another entre item tastes. Staff was very... More
