We stopped by on our way back to our cabin from Hartford State Park. My kids and I all got the flavor blast ice cream cones. My oldest and I got butter pecan and it was DELICIOUS! My youngest got bubble gum and enjoyed hers...as well. My husband decided on a chocolate malt and some cheese balls. The cheese balls were very good and he enjoyed his ice cream. The staff was very friendly. This is more of a gas station/convenient store (I would not consider this a true diner). But they do have a full menu. I would for sure return to this place for ice cream!More

We stopped there for lunch in mid afternoon after Labor Day. The special was hot beef sandwiches and we had them. The serving was large and very good. The place was squeaky clean and neat as a pin. The business is a combination gas station,...convenience store, and diner style restaurant. Some things were a little unusual. The sandwiches came on paper plates and the silverware was plastic, but the food was excellent. I guess being in a very small, sleepy town in South Dakota, expect the unusual and roll with it.More

A small place advertised as a 50's Diner. A young man took our order at the counter. He didn't volunteer any advice. Behavior a bit strange. Food was not very good. You have to get coffee from the convenience store portion of the building. Unless...you are desperate, I'd skip the place.More

Food was good and service was just fine. You order at the counter and the waitress brings your food out.

We decided to stop and try this place out. I thought it had a large selection of food to choose from. I guess i was expecting real hamburger but it wasnt. Did enjoy the cheeseburger though with pickles, ketchup and mustard, potato salad and liked...the french fries. They are skinny but i liked them. The lady at the counter was nice. My only pet peeve being im in food service is the lady cooking the food didnt have on a hair net. She had it in a pony tail but the hair can still fly out so that kind of turned me off but overall we enjoyed the food and atmosphereMore

The quality of the food has gone down hill in the past few years. I went for opening day. Only saw one other customer and it was lunch time. My fries were hard and the shoestring ones. The burger which used to be huge and...open faced was closed with mustard, ketchup on my bun. I suggest no one stops to go there just for the food or the decor. It's not worth it.More

Great selection of ice cream with very helpful staff. Food is basic quick serve burgers and fries stuff, decent but nothing special. Fun 50's themed place where my god kids love to dance and act silly to the oldies.
