We stopped by on our way back to our cabin from Hartford State Park. My kids and I all got the flavor blast ice cream cones. My oldest and I got butter pecan and it was DELICIOUS! My youngest got bubble gum and enjoyed hers...as well. My husband decided on a chocolate malt and some cheese balls. The cheese balls were very good and he enjoyed his ice cream. The staff was very friendly. This is more of a gas station/convenient store (I would not consider this a true diner). But they do have a full menu. I would for sure return to this place for ice cream!More

We stopped there for lunch in mid afternoon after Labor Day. The special was hot beef sandwiches and we had them. The serving was large and very good. The place was squeaky clean and neat as a pin. The business is a combination gas station,...convenience store, and diner style restaurant. Some things were a little unusual. The sandwiches came on paper plates and the silverware was plastic, but the food was excellent. I guess being in a very small, sleepy town in South Dakota, expect the unusual and roll with it.More

A small place advertised as a 50's Diner. A young man took our order at the counter. He didn't volunteer any advice. Behavior a bit strange. Food was not very good. You have to get coffee from the convenience store portion of the building. Unless...you are desperate, I'd skip the place.More
