We stopped in at about nine on a Saturday morning just for a brief bite. My husband had the muffler, which is a breakfast burrito. The tortilla looked and tasted excellent, and the filling was perfectly cooked and proportioned. I had the iced cinnamon roll and a white mocha. The cinnamon roll was covered in a generous layer of cream... More

They have a wide variety of morning drinks hot or cold. Staff was very friendly and the cost is manageable. They are open for early risers.

We stopped near to mornings in a row. Had breakfast sandwiches the first morning with coffee. Pretty good food and great coffee. Got a little hot in there with the glass blowing. Next day we skipped the food and just got coffee. Would get coffee here everyday.

Ha! It does get warm in there, but thankfully there is the outdoor patio where you can eat, enjoy your drink, and watch the glass blowing. It is snowing quite hard as I write this, and the warmth from the glass blowing is welcome today! :) More

We thoroughly enjoyed the Pump House and Mind Blown Studio - the food was good, the service was friendly, the vintage paraphenalia in the restaurant was great fun to see - a good collection! And what we enjoyed the most was spending some time with Toni - having her explain how she creates the lovely blown glass pieces - watching... More

Aren't the pumpkins wonderful?! So special to see your one-of-a-kind pumpkin being made by our Toni, and now it is your souvenir of your visit to Deadwood forever. So glad you enjoyed our little place. :) More

Get place awesome atmosphere. A great daily stop for coffee. Lots of memorabilia in the walls and watching the glass blower is a nice addition.

Had breakfast here before we left Deadwood to go to Rapid City. What a cool place to eat. So many interesting things to look at. Its a pity the glass blowing part of the building was closed as I think they were on honeymoon, would have like to see them in action. The breakfast was good and the coffee was... More

Thank you for the review and recommendation regarding our food, coffee, and shop. We are also sorry the glass blowing was not happening. It really adds to the interesting things to look at while inside the retro Texaco gas station. I hope you are able to return when the glass blower is working. More

Stopped in for a quick bite. Had the Strut - turkey, cranberry, cream cheese but asked for it in a wrap instead of bagel. Great sandwich. Enjoyed the sandwich but even more so the surroundings! Vintage service station. Also incredible art glass studio - Mind Blown Studio. Highly recommended.

Where can you go that is 1500 miles from where you live and find a person who takes glassblowing classes in your home town. If you are from Corning, NY and visit the Pump House in Deadwood, that is exactly what happens! The place is obviously an old Texaco station with lots of petroleum paraphernalia. The serve sandwiches and gave... More

It is a SMALL world; it is so fun to meet people with whom you have connections. It seems that you enjoyed everything PHMBS has to offer. You are right; the coffee is awesome! We think so, and we have been told so by many. :) Thank you! More

We stopped in for a coffee and light breakfast before our drive to Mount Rushmore. What a fun place! Converted from an old gas station and shares space with a glass blower studio. Funky decor. Service was fabulous. We were given some great recommendations on coffees, places to see in town and where to eat dinner. Coffee as yummy! Definitely... More

The food was just ok. The resturant itself was rundown and kinda dirty. We were in Deadwood off season so very few customers. Wait staff was super friendly c and service was prompt and helpful.

It is comforting to know that the service was prompt, helpful, and friendly. Thank you! We welcome suggestions on ideas to make the food more than "just ok"; we truly use the feedback to improve our product. Finally, it is disturbing that the place was not in the best physical condition. I assure you that we are on improving that... More
