We stopped at Prairie Berry for lunch and wine tasting and were impressed with the large inviting display, wine tasting area, and lunch menu. Our lunch was excellent - far better than expected. The chicken salad was the best I have had. The guys enjoyed...More

Always a highlight of our trip. Such a treat! The wine is the best.. Now we are wine club members which is great. The food is beyond words! You have to try their own face sandwiches. I love that it's kid friendly also.

Stopped in for wine tasting and was not disappointed! We also were blown away by their charcuterie platter. So much deliciousness in one place.

The brewery was dog friendly, and honestly being from California, we were most interested in the beer. The sandwiches were great with the beer, it wasn't until the food was delivered that we realized that the same kitchen served both places. Definitely worth the extra...More

My wife and I started with a wine testing. Very informative employees. Next, we ordered some lunch and a bottle of wine. After lunch we shared a delicious dessert. Lunch and dessert were enjoyed on their fabulous patio.

This is a first class outfit--five free wine tastings out of many to choose from, knowledgeable and friendly staff both in the winery and food area, and great food choices. We sampled, had a late lunch on the patio and just relaxed. Then of course...More

What a neat place to visit and taste good wine. The staff was great. We tried about 10 wines and will be purchasing some on line at home. Great names for some of the wines that cant be listed on this site...

Ronald, Great question, and it looks like there have been several great answers already! Most of our wines range in price from $14 to $25, although some of the wines available exclusively to our wine club members and those... More

Description
Experience our award-winning wines in a fun and relaxed setting in the heart of the Black Hills. Find us three miles northwest of Hill City on Highway 385, just a few miles from Mount Rushmore National Memorial and Crazy Horse Memorial.

We’re Hill City’s only working winery and Sandi Vojta, our fifth generation winemaker, handcrafts each wine, often using old family recipes, just a few steps from our Tasting Room.

Start your Prairie Berry Winery experience with a free wine tasting of up to five of our award-winning wines, including our Anna Pesä handcrafted traditional European wines, at our Tasting Bars. We produce a variety of wines in styles for every palate – from crisp, dry wines and robust, oak-aged reds to sweet, fruity varieties.

Our Kitchen offers housemade menu items including gluten-free, vegetarian and kids’ options. Menu selections pair perfectly with our wines, vary with the season and many of our ingredients are sourced locally. Enjoy a meal on our patio with our beautiful views of Black Elk Peak (formerly Harney Peak).

Our brewery, Miner Brewing Company, is located next door.
