Not much here as far as good wine goes. Mostly all fruit juice with sugar added and fermented. They did have a small selection of real wines made from real grapes but at $26 a bottle they can keep it! Everything here is overpriced.More

Everyone should stop by this winery and its brewery on the same property. There are 5 tastings of their many award winning wines , free of charge. You must go home with their KA Rhubarb wine as it's awesome!

Enjoyed stopping to taste some wines and enjoy the fun wine labels for example"Lawrence Elk". They also have a small cafe and a good number of gift items. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

Prairie Berry just keeps improving its brand, wine and venue. Take my word for it, you will have to pinch yourself to believe you're visiting a South Dakota winery! Everything is simply first rate, from the tasting/sales room to the wonderful light cuisine. Treat yourself...More

Prairieberry is a fine organization. They have a fun tasting room, good meals (paired expertly with their wines, a reception hall, and a beer experience just down the road. I've been a part of their "wine club." Which was fun for awhile. Truth be told,...More

The Prairie Berry Winery is located between Keystone and Hill City, SD. The Winery is a must if you enjoy wine and they also have a little menu for lunch/dinner. We enjoyed the wine tasting and the food was good as well.

This venue surprised us with the many wine offerings and interior feel. You could sample up to 5 wines for FREE!! Sandwiches and cheese/sausage trays also available. Would definitely return if ever in the area again.

Very fun spot! Enjoyed the rhubarb wine. Lunch outside on the patio in the sunshine with the Black Hills surrounding us was so very nice! Wish I could visit again soon!

Description
Experience our award-winning wines in a fun and relaxed setting in the heart of the Black Hills. Find us three miles northwest of Hill City on Highway 385, just a few miles from Mount Rushmore National Memorial and Crazy Horse Memorial.

We’re Hill City’s only working winery and Sandi Vojta, our fifth generation winemaker, handcrafts each wine, often using old family recipes, just a few steps from our Tasting Room.

Start your Prairie Berry Winery experience with a free wine tasting of up to five of our award-winning wines, including our Anna Pesä handcrafted traditional European wines, at our Tasting Bars. We produce a variety of wines in styles for every palate – from crisp, dry wines and robust, oak-aged reds to sweet, fruity varieties.

Our Kitchen offers housemade menu items including gluten-free, vegetarian and kids’ options. Menu selections pair perfectly with our wines, vary with the season and many of our ingredients are sourced locally. Enjoy a meal on our patio with our beautiful views of Black Elk Peak (formerly Harney Peak).

Our brewery, Miner Brewing Company, is located next door.
