We had dinner at the Horse Creek the other night and my husband had an excellent filet mignon. He ordered it medium rare and it was perfect with great flavor! I had the grilled chicken caesar salad and the chicken was delicious too. They were packed and we ate in the bar which we loved. Our waitress Shelbie did a... More

We went to this restaurant a year ago, and wasn't impressed. Came back to give it another chance. We sat at a table in the bar. Ordered a burger and sweet potato fries. Cut the cheeseburger in half to share our meal. Meat inside was cold/raw. Turned out stomachs. Waitress asked how things were and husband showed her the inside... More

Several people in our party ordered the prime rib which we had heard was fantastic. While no one said it was the best prime rib they had eaten, no one complained about It. The Cajun seasoning was added to a few orders and added a nice flavor. The others in our group ordered steak. It was cooked as ordered, but... More

Great knotty pine, café chairs, waitress & prime rib. Prompt service - very reasonable price. 4 people in the party - all happy.

We went in the restaurant and left. Wasn't the atmosphere we were hoping for. A lot of tables with uncomfortable chairs and very noisy.

I am a big person to read reviews before we try a place and I excepted this place to be a great place for dinner with my husband.... I was way wrong this place was plain awful food, we got steak and I don't think they even put salt on them. There salad tasted like they bought it from Walmart... More

The prime rib was huge and perfectly done. The Tournedos Oscar was excellent as well. Everything is very reasonably priced and well done. The setting is nice as well, overlooking a river, and the service was excellent.

We had the restaurant recommended by the B&B we were staying at. Warm rustic atmosphere with friendly staff and fellow patrons. The beer cheese soup had been scorched and our waitress stopped offering it but the other servers still suggested it so apparently the chef or mgr. thought that approperate. We had the prime rib with very good and reasonable.

After a week of eating typical bar food and fast food, we were hoping for a reasonably priced, good sit down dinner. Horse Creek Inn didn't disappoint us. The prime rib and steak was tender and cooked to order. The wait staff was friendly and attentive without hovering.

Our server was fantastic, she was friendly and attentive. The vegetable beef and beer cheese soups were delicious. The broasted chicken was good and there is a lot of it! The pasta primavera with chicken was very good as well. Everyone liked their prime rib also. Try the desserts! The decor is rustic so don't be expecting anything fancy. Next... More
