We really like going to Alleia. The food is always good and fresh. The wait staff are always there to fill up your glass or check on you, almost too often, but you are never wondering when they will come by. It is often noisy,...More

It was just okay nothing impressive. Service was not good at all. I will not eat there again. We had the soup of the day which was creamy carrot and too sweet! 3 Entrees that were not even good enough to post about.

The atmosphere was sophisticated and upscale. The service was wonderful and helpful-very knowledgable of the menu. we ordered pappardelle with braised veal, wood grilled chicken mashed potatoes and the cocktails were delicious too. Very wonderful evening and will be back.

Great food and creative, eclectic atmosphere in downtown Chattanooga. A little Taste of New York cuisine awaits you. Menu has a lot of choices. There is something for everyone. Try the grouper served over a bed of acorn squash. Awesome!!

Best restaurant in Chattanooga! Very good wine list, and the food is fantastic! Sign up for the mailing list and get announcements about the family style dinner they do each month. A really good value.

In the world of Chattanooga Italian this restaurant is great and it's premium (high prices). The service is solid, atmosphere inviting and warm. We made reservations and at early (6PM) we were seated right away. We had a large high-walled booth; comfortable seats but stiff...More

Fancy restaurant with some trendy food. We went on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was still very full but the space is well setup for a quiet meal.

Thoughts of opening an additional concept in the southside of chattanooga stirred in 2004. chef lindley wanted to explore true rustic italian, but incorporate regional flavor. exceptional ingredients imported from italy and quality produce delivered from local farms make this vision a reality. situated in chattanooga's rejuvenated southside neighborhood, alleia resides in the old harrington building. the fulfillment of chef daniel lindley's dream of offering simple, italian inspired cuisine opened its doors in april 2009. chef lindley's latest venture is a unique interpretation of rustic italian cuisine, using local ingredients to create an evolving menu. alleia boasts seven types of house made pasta and a custom brick oven that reaches 750 degrees for pizza making. remarkably designed by rodney simmons of revival studio, alleia captures the warmth and comfort of a traditional trattoria, while breaking new ground in present-day restaurant design. trimmed in 300 year old wood taken from the harrington building, the space can seat 150, including a striking communal table that seats 32. the porch at alleia marries the best of al fresco and indoor dining. featuring a generous wraparound banquette, climbing jasmine and views of lookout mountain, the porch provides reprieve from the bustle of the southside. please enjoy.
