Our family stopped in for lunch during our trip to Chattanooga. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We had a variety of things to eat: Fried Green Tomatoes w/Champy''s Special Sauce, Buttermilk Battered Fried Pickle Spears, AND Boiled Crawfish!! Each item was fresh, hot, and delicious! Service was fast and efficient all done in a friendly manner and the food... More

I've been to Champy's multiple times, including the week they opened. This place does not disappoint with good service and great food. Good for lunch, the patio is nice in the springtime....

The outside doesn't look inviting but inside the decorations are definitely 80s minus money tips of course and 40 oz coozies. This is all-fried food and if your looking for healthy go somewhere else. But delicious. I ordered the chicken finger basket and received 4 generous pieces of chicken and lots of fries. The specialty sauce is sweet and tangy... More

Fun environment and the food was pretty good. I was surprised though, I thought the fried chicken would be a little better than it was. Still a good time.

After reading the reviews we were excited to go to Champy's to get some good Southern fried chicken. After our experience, we cannot help but wonder where those people ate. First the good...the only good.....the server was pleasant and the baked beans, potato salad and green beans were good, tasty and well prepared. However, somewhat pricey for what was served...$2.50,... More

I honestly didn't think the food was that great . A trip to Popeyes or bojangles would have did the trick. Chicken must be cooked in pork Grease tastes like old bacon grease. The servings are big but its pricy !

Can't say enough about Champys! You can never ever go wrong! FOLKS THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST FRIED CHICKEN IN THE SOUTH, HANDS DOWN! If your here in Chattanooga and only had one place to be able to go, go here! My only critique is the slaw is very strong on the vinegar. Recommend the fries and the dipping sauce.... More

The first time we ate there it was really good....the next 2 times, it was just ok. The cole slaw is not sweet they way I like it.....the friend chicken is good, but lacked taste the last 2 times. The sauce that comes with the chicken strips is very good

Great atmosphere and service. Food is usually spot on. Awesome fried chicken and tamales, worth going for just those two :)
