Champy's is a great fried chicken restaurant in downtown Chattanooga. Large pieces and great atmoshere. My brother in law had the tamales and said they were very good.

Blues playing in the background, friendly servers, sports on the tv, dollar bills on the walls and rustic fun make for a fantastic southern atmosphere for food, beer, sweet tea and succulent fried chicken or catfish. It has the look and feel of a dive bar with very well executed menu items. It's a great hang out!

Really liked the laid back atmosphere. The chicken and sides were nothing crazy, but everything was really good. We ordered fried pickles for an appetizer - definitelly worth it!! The waitress was really friendly as well. Only complaint is that our table wobbled and my chair was lower to the ground than my mom's, so we were eating at different... More

We stumbled on Champ's at lunchtime and were not disappointed. Had the "world famous" chicken with slaw fries and beans and all were excellent. Highly recommended.

It wasn't as good as we had heard but it was pretty good. The service was excellent and very friendly and southern so that was a plus! I probably wouldn't recommend it as the best fried chicken I've ever had but it was worth the trip.

My first time here. The chicken is great but don't forget about the tamales. Great bar and atmosphere. The outside patio is amazing.the pick up lines in the men's bathroom are classic.

This is another solid lunch venue whether you want to get in and out or if you just want to relax. Service is always good and the food satisfying. The fried chicken beckons me every time and I have not been disappointed. Super sweet tea. If that is not your thing, maybe go 1/2 sweet and 1/2 unsweet. Yup, they... More

We waited as expected for about 1 1/2 hours as it was a brand new opening. We ordered appetizers, they were good. Thought we were off to a good start. Until it came time for the entree. Ours came out smelling and tasting like cigarettes. It was awful. The service was horrible. Our waitress came around every once in a... More

Yesterday I had another lunch at Champy's and it was the best! The chicken was so good I was trying to eat the bones ha! The slaw and especially the beans that come with it are very good. Champy's food and service are consistently excellent. I like them so well I bought a T-shirt from them.

Thank Gregg A
