We ate breakfast here last year and this trip decided to eat lunch. Food and service were excellent and we know that the Blue Plate will be in our dining plans next year.

They have the best bacon cheeseburger in town. They use Benton Bacon from East Tennessee off of US 411 near Madisonville. Have made several trips to get this triple smoky and delicious bacon. They also have a full bar with craft local craft beers. Very close to the Tennessee Aquarium and downtown attractions.

Nice spot for brunch and very close to the aquarium. They were very accommodating to our dog, which was nice. The outdoor seating was comfortable and had a nice view of the water. The food was very good and the service was great.

I have lived in the greater Chattanooga area my entire life. I never tried Blue Plate until today. (Not sure why...just never did) This is now one of my "go-to's". I highly recommend the Chicken and pancake. Very very good food.

We discovered this place on our last day in Chattanooga. So wish we would have known about it sooner. The atmosphere, waiters and the food are wonderful. Definitely returning on our next trip to Chattanooga.

Downtown Chattanooga, on the river. I was glad for a breakfast alternative to the hotel offering. The normal breakfast menu was good, although it had more of a feeling of a bar.

On our return trip to Chattanooga we decided to give The Blue Plate another try. That being said, the first time was great and this time was no exception. My wife got pancakes as expected. I got the fried chicken breast with whipped potatoes and green beans. Wonderful! I'll always go back. The wait wasn't bad at all despite being... More

Our group of 6 had lunch at the Blue Plate on a Saturday. There was a short wait for a table, but not too long. We started with fried pickles and they were very good. Three of us had the chicken and pancakes and it was delicious. Both the chicken and the pancake were cooked to perfection. It comes with... More

Recommended by the clerk at our hotel as a good meat and three. It was a bit pricey and my fried chicken was overcooked.
