Exceptional food and very friendly servers and staff! I only wish we live closer so that I could have the option of trying more of the delicious looking menu items.

After taking the Incline Railway from the top of Lookout Mountain, we really enjoyed lunch at the Purple Daisy (located across the Incline parking lot at the base.) Funky decor (purple daisies, purple pigs) & fabulous BBQ made for a yummy lunch. My brother had the BBQ platter while I enjoyed their homemade coleslaw & a vegetarian loaded baked potato... More

Friendly staff, good food, great service! We're from Florida and we're surprised by how liquidy the BBQ sauces were.

We stopped at the purple Daisy Cafe after visiting Point Park on Lookout Mountain. We loved the pork nachos, the chili pie with fritos (yum!), ribs, and tacos. Everything was wonderful. Service was terrific! Very cute place would recommend highly.

The Purple Daisy Picnic Cafe is located in St Elmo, TN at the foot of Lookout Mountain. The location is convenient to attractions such as the Incline Railway (right across the street) and Rock City(right before you go up the mountain). We went for lunch on a weekday at 11:15 and there was only one other couple eating. But it... More

The Purple Daisy never disappoints! I highly recommend their original “Rainbow Sandwich” and fruit tea. The food is delicious and filling and the staff are friendly and provide the highest level of service.

So, let's start with desert. It took 10 bits to figure out the ingredients of their Banana Pudding. My average is 7. All 3 of us on this adventure agreed. It is the best Banana Pudding we've eaten in any restaurant in Chattanooga. But it's not the best we ever had. I had ribs, baked beans, slaw & Texas toast.... More

We've gone a few times over the years and always feel just kind of blah when we're done. There's nothing wrong with the food, there's just nothing spectacular either. They do have good hot dogs!

If you like barbecue, this place is worth a stop. Casual atmosphere, eclectic decor, kid-friendly, reasonable prices, and...good food. A winning combo. Our toddler particularly enjoyed the treat which came with the kid's meal. I would highly recommend the baked beans as a side to whatever main dish you choose. They are seriously delicious.

We visited Chattanooga with the family and stopped by The Purple Daisy Picnic Cafe before boarding the Incline. The atmosphere was fun and eclectic. Nice casual spot for lunch. We ordered for two kids and two adults. Menu is limited, but the adult meals were really good. My husband ordered a large bowl of chili, which he really enjoyed with... More
