If you want a log fire, real ale and good, reasonably priced food then look no further than this pub set in the beautiful Welsh hills between Mold and Ruthin. A warm welcome from the staff and good choice of Marstons real ale including Sunbeam Bitter, Burton Bitter and my favourite New World Bitter! Also a good selection of draught... More

I have to admit we have not eaten at The Druids for sometime However we called tonight after work to a friendly welcome, excellent food and great hospitality It appears that the management has changed for the better and we will certainly make this our local once again

This pub has a lovely friendly atmosphere with an open fire and really cosy bar area. Have been twice with some car enthusiasts for a get together of 10 or so people. Food has on both occasions been excellent, service the same. This pub is really worth a visit, they are dog friendly which is great after a long walk,... More

I organised a lunch for 24 . Without exception the food was excellent, beautifully presented and delicious ( and extremely good value ) The service was friendly, attentive and efficient. The whole group insisted on complimenting the Chef, the staff and Sam ( the owner ) for making us so welcome. The experience was so pleasurable that we are already... More

Attended here as a group of seven between Xmas and New Year. It was VERY busy. The lady behind the bar (appeared to be in charge) said 'I'll be with you when I can'! Now call my picky, but that didn't really cut it. That made us feel almost as if we were an inconvenience. If she'd have said 'I'll... More

We visited over the Christmas Bank Holiday and the `Druid was very busy. Lots of walkers and a fair few dogs. All well behaved. The kitchen was running behind, due to staff shortages, however we were informed of this when we ordered. Good tasty food, well presented and cooked. Overall well worth a visit.

Beautiful bar and restaurant in the Welsh country side. Food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been nicer. I highly recommend the lamb shank, a credit to the chef. We stayed one night in the Dee suit witch was fresh clean and comfortable. The full English breakfast was one of the best I've had in a long time and... More
