Upscale restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. Delicious food made from scratch. No frozen food that's been reheated here. Linen table cloths and napkins. Very nice!

We stayed at the Hampden Inn right across the street....got in late and had dinner. The food was fine, but what we wanted to say is that the restaurant could not have been more friendly. Very nice staff, had a feeling of being family run.

This is a five star restaurant in a three star town. It is very high toned and pricy for this little burg. It is nice to have one here, but I don't think it will make it. So, go now, before they are not here anymore.

Have been the the Brass Lantern twice for a large group dinner and was disappointed both times. The first time, we ordered the pork chop and it was like eating leather. Second time, we were told that manager had been made aware of the problem and would personally be sure they were good. Trusting him, we tried the pork chop... More

Nice restaurant, very short menu for lunch, soups, salads, and sandwiches. We had cheeseburgers and fries. They were good, handmade hamburger patties. Nice waitress.

As restaurants go in the Crossville area, the Brass Lantern is close to being one of the better ones. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is nothing to rave about, but is close to what you pay for in the area. We will probably return on occasions with family and friends. The atmosphere is OK and... More

Our first night was an advertising promotion. Dinner was very good. Not wanting to assume this was an special dinner, we went back the next day for lunch. Prices normal and the French dip was delicious. Next was a birthday dinner and we chose the lamb...excellent. Then the next week we went for the Saturday night special...the prime rib! It... More

We had over 20 for lunch and the staff at The Brass Lantern handled us with ease! We were seated in the bar area and Jeremy, Lauren & Laura took our orders and served everyone quickly. Reuben $8.00, Fish sandwich $8.00, Prime Rib French Dip $8.00. The sides include the unique & tasty sweet potato tater tots. For the Reuben,... More

The menu doesn't offer many selections and is quite expensive for the serving sizes. My baked potato was cold and the steaks weren't cooked as ordered. Even though they cooked a second steak, it was still not medium well. Overcooked first time and undercooked the second. They discounted the check but did not comp the meal as requested.
