We stopped in for ice cream, but also tried the loaded potato soup for lunch...very good soup. I wasn't interested in their "flavor of the day" ice cream, but luckily there was a hand packed pint of Pistachio in the cooler. Amazing!! The best pistachio ice cream I've had since my last trip to Kilwins. Would definitely go again.

I ordered a cyclone with Vanilla Custard, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, and chocolate chips. It was very good. It seemed they were having a steady stream of customers in drive thru as well as walk in.

The other reviewers might have found an employee on a bad day but has NEVER been our experience. Daily specials (different custards - chocolate butter finger crunch - chocolate espresso, etc) are so delicious. You can get shakes, malts or custards… we have never been disappointed! Be sure to give them a try!

We last visited the custard cabin 3 years ago and the experience was so good we went several times the week we were in this area! Fast forward to 2 days ago and what a downward turn this place has taken. We visited at around 7pm and sign out front said they closed at 8pm. There were 2 employees an middle aged lady and young girl and from the moment we entered you could tell from the eye rolling and not so friendly remarks we were just a bother to them!
My wife ordered a banana split found once outside in car there were no bananas in it. And very few toppings basically a plate with 3 scoops.
I a Sunday and it was ok nothing special.
Since we were neither welcome upon entering nor thanked once purchase was complete we have decided to take our business elsewhere.
The place seems to be up for sale hopefully the next owners treat their customers better.

What a difference new ownership makes ! After our last experience at this location in 2021 (Which I unfortunately gave a poor review) Due to poor customer service by prior ownership. I am Happy to now give a great review for the service and friendliness of the new owner and staff in 2023 !

The frozen custard is good, and the value is appropriate. The people working the counter (July 1 9 around 4PM) had a "give a S___" attitude best summarized by "the owner is selling the place." Oh, that makes your attitude OK. 🙄🙄🙄

We are from out of town and were looking forward to visiting custard cabin again. We went 20 minutes before closing and the girl at the window said they were closed “ because they weren’t busy and out of custard.” We went to Dairy Queen instead. I hope the owner knows that he/ she is losing business because of lazy employees.

Yummy isn't good enough. This shop has it all. Great environment, friendly staff, cute decor, and delicious custard desserts. I had a scoop in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. Perfect. The cyclones look amazing.

This facility has a good product (custard/ice cream) but everything else about it is so substandard that another visit is not desired or planned:
1. The manager, the only one on duty this visit, was extremely unfriendly and seemed quite put out to have to wait on you -- very nasty attitude. A sample was requested to check for purchase and the manager refused to retrieve the sample spoon to discard it and tersely told the customer to discard it herself.
2. The eating area containing about 4 tables with chairs was off limits and roped off "due to the increase in the number of COVID cases," according to the manager; however this was not true as the COVID cases in the county had diminished. Also, spacing of the tables in the eating area was at least 6' but still roped off. The impression was definite that the manager was too lazy to open up the area and keep it clean. It was very obvious the COVID excuse for a closed eating area was made up/false to satisfy her laziness to open it. If this manage/server was that concerned about the COVID status, she should have been wearing a mask but was not. Hand washing was not performed even after having waiting on drive through vehicle orders.
3. It was very cold in the facility and consuming the ice cream on a very cool day had to be done outside the facility or in your car. Not inviting at all.
4. The prices for the product are exceedingly high and definitely not worth the set price.
There will not be a return visit nor any recommendation to friends to patronize this facility. A new manager/owner is recommended for this, a facility with a good product.

This place is outstanding. Whether you drive thru or dine in. The decor is super quaint and you cannot beat the frozen treats. OH SO GOOD !!!

I found this place to be pleasant. The chocolate custard was tasty and the 2 young people behind the counter were friendly and efficient. Was a bit pricey but not so much that we did not indulge.

Used drive thru only. Slow service. Server did not wear a mask but there was a clear partition at the drivethru. Fair custard, no whipped cream on top of the sundae.

At my visit they had chocolate, vanilla, and one specialty flavor. I had the chocolate and it was so creamy and rich, delicious! Young man at the counter was very nice.
