We had The Flying Pig cater dinner for our family reunion (60 people) and they did an amazing job! The food was delicious, especially the brisket, grilled chicken, mac n cheese, green beans, baked beans, and banana pudding. They provided everything we needed for the meal, delivered it on time, and the food was hot. The whole family raved about the food!

Great little BBQ restaurant in a strip mall behind Buc-ees. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but you need to give it a try. Lots of delicious looking choices, but we only tried the pulled pork and the beans. Both were very tasty, as well as the BBQ sauce that came with it.

We caught them just before their rush.
The place was busy shortly after our arrival. It looked like the order line moved quickly, though
Geat Ribs, nachos , and BBQ sandwich.
Reasonable pricing.

So much food for great price. The pulled pork was good, I prefer it smothered marinated in sauce. The sauce was on the side. But still really good.

Best loaded potato ever (huge potato is a meal by itself). Barbequed Pork or Chicken. Can even get it as a plate with 2 sides or on a bun. Recommend anyone coming to Crossville to eat here or take it with you.

My husband smokes pork.He often tries different techniques to get that “best bbq ever” title which makes me a bit of a bbq judge. A good bbq should taste enhanced flavor, have a slight pink ring from smoking And be tender. The Flying pig failed in all three and the food was served cold! The cold slaw was runny, the baked bean too sweet. Needless to say we will not be back. Service was fast. The pork did not taste like it had any seasonings. No sign of a bark at all.

First, the service is so fast that it is ready by the time you fill up your drink. Price is very, very, reasonable...in fact it may be the cheapest meal in the County. And the BBQ is excellent pulled pork. Just the right flavors, not fatty, and hand picked. Their BBQ loaded potato makes a great lunch. The owner is fantastic and the environment is clean and nice. Can't go wrong here. The only thing I would ding them for is using Styrofoam for everything...not environmentally friendly. Oh, and their catering for large group meals is FANTASTIC.

Located in strip mall. Got good ratings on Google search so decided to give it a try. When in Tennessee seek out BBQ. Restuarant itself is more take out it seems. You place order at counter and pick up there also.l had the Loaded Potato which is a #1 pick and my husband had the half rack special. It was ready before we poured our own drinks. That says it is all precooked and ready to go. Served in carry out styrofoam.
Potato is one pound by itself. Stuffed with butter, cheese, chives and your choice of pork or chicken. You have your pick of hot, sweet or mild sauce. My opinion is if it was already in the sauce it wouldn't have been dry. Because the order was up so fast I also found it not as hot as I like my food. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. Can't say it is the best because I have nothing to compare it with.

Took the Family there. Hard to find, did not know what to except BBQ was good ,service was good. Establishment was in a strip mall, not anything like I thought. A little run down, but the inside was nice. would eat there again

Found this little gem and it didn’t disappoint. I had the stuffed baked potato and it was a pound potato, topped with pulled pork, cheese, sour cream, and it’s filling. Husband had a pork sandwich and two sides and it was awesome. The young lady that waited on us was great. One problem is they don’t have the Fairfield Glade place anymore. Just the one off exit 320 near Sav a Lot.

The bbq is good, but very pricey. The service and method of taking orders could be improved. The establishment appeared well staffed, however the line backs up due to poor organization.

To find the best place to eat, always ask a local where they go eat. We were in town looking at property and we did and without hesitation he said The Flying Pig and get the stuffed baked potato. It was a little hard to find and when we did find it we weren't sure we were there. It is in a strip center next to a grocery store. The entrance is plain and except for the sign, nothing prepares you for the cutest restaurant, with a nicest employees and great BBQ.
We did get that recommended stuffed baked potato, one chicken and one pulled pork (so we could sample both). Not the cheapest meal on the block but considering it is so large it will be two meals, it's not really pricey.
Most importantly, it tasted great. This is from someone who eats at about every BBQ restaurant we pass. So job very well done and thanks to Jason who sent us there.

You cannot believe the giant baked potato that has pulled pork added to top - wish I had a picture of the size and beauty of this selection! They add cheese, butter & sour cream to your selection. We visit the area several times a year and never miss stopping by here for lunch (dining in or take out). This has about the best pulled pork anywhere!

New to the area and trying everything ... found this to be a gem on Peavine !!
We both had the half chicken with beans along with mac and cheese. We liked the fast food style counter and pick up that avoids an unnecessary waiter or waitress. The chicken was tender and we liked that we could each select our own barbecue sauce.
It’s great to have a nice casual restaurant like this in the area that you can stop in and pick up or sit down in your shorts and pig out !!
The price and portions were both perfect for us and we found it delicious !!
