My husband and I visited Longhorn Steakhouse. The food was good, but seemed overly expensive. The waitstaff wasn't friendly or helpful since this was our first visit.

Great food once you actually get it. Patience will be needed because most of my visits it takes 45 min to an hour to get your food after being seated. Friday and Saturday you will have about the same wait time just to get seated. All in All its worth the wait for the food! Their KOBE steak sandwich is... More
Had to wait over 20 minutes for a seat. Worth the wait. Service was great. Appetizer was a Texas Tunion which could have been better. Not a blooming onion like their competition. Had a chopped salad which could have been chopped more than it was. Ordered the Filet 8 oz. rare. Absolute delicious piece of meat cooked to perfection. Could... More
Being in town for funeral, we stopped here for dinner. I ordered the two 8oz pork chops (over-cooked and dry) w/ spaghetti squash (which was very tasty). My wife ordered the baby back ribs which were absolutely some of the best ribs eaten.Server was very pleasant and attentive, despite being overloaded with tables. I would still recommend the chops due... More
We got the Porterhouse for two, which is pretty good. We have eaten here a few times, and it has always taken over an hour to get our meal. The server's do a great job, but just know that you will wait....
The Kingsport Longhorn Restaurant is very slow and it is always a hit or miss on them getting the order correct. This place seems to have a lot of turnover on help. Manage is never seen. They need to get out of their office and make sure the service is right and the meals are prepared correctly.

Our refills had to be requested from servers across the room because our server disappeared. Our salads and soups came out before our appetizers. I ordered the NY Strip steak and... More
I struggled with what to rate this but the service received from the staff and management really pushed this to excellent. The family and I have been here several times and each time my steak was over cooked. The manager, Chris Thomas, made it right every time. Went back last night and it was pure perfection.
