Homemade salsas and fresh made tortilla chips with cheese dip! Try the green sauce. Had the 'carne asada' taco -- fresh pico and guac -- tender steak. Yum. Plus they have Coca-Cola fountain drinks.

Hard to get to as there is major construction in the area and limited parking......but... worth it nonetheless. Had a burrito and it was huge fresh hot and filling. Will go back soon.

Great little place on UT Campus area.... Authentic and very good meals reasonably priced! Great service and food! The California Burrito was great with steak, potatoes and pico de gallo with Monterey Jack cheese was great! The chips and salsa was very flavorful and fresh too.... Highly recommend and will be back.... Close to downtown too!

As native Californian who has lived in TN the past 9 years, I can now say the search for CA style Mexican fast food is over. The tacos are crispy and delicious, and the hot sauce is very good. Not knocking the cooking style of eastern Mexico, it's just different. Service is good, pretty fast and the eats are very... More

My family loves to eat at Oscar's Taco Shop whenever we are in Knoxville, TN. The best authentic tacos in the area. Huge portions and great value. Quesadillas are awesome, burritos are even better. I've never had anything I didn't like. Great atmosphere. Sometimes they are very busy, but worth the wait. Seating is limited.

Found this on Yelp and gave it a try. It is tricky to get to with the construction but was so glad we did! The shrimp tacos were so good! Excellent guacamole and super fresh tacos! Don't dismiss this place by the location or hole in the wall appearance!!

This is our favorite place to eat Mexican fast food in the state of Tennessee. First discovered Oscar's Taco on Church Street in Nashville, TN and we are thankful they are located in Knoxville, TN now. Best chicken & shrimp tacos I've ever eaten. Burritos are huge and taste like their tacos. My wife loves their cheese queso, and soon... More

The food is good and reasonably priced. The bean burrito was definitely not the best I have ever had, but it was good. The road construction made it difficult to enter the parking lot. It appeared that several college age patrons were eating here. It is a small restaurant with limited seating. Overall, you get a pretty good deal for... More

This place is cheap and delicious. Very authentic CA-Mex food. The rolled tacos are served exactly like I remember from San Diego: cheese, shredded lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream. We try to stop here whenever we are passing by. If you come off the interstate, there's always a ton of traffic and construction. You will need to make a U-turn,... More
