We stayed at Ballynahinch for 3 nights, and ate dinner in the dining room, by the window overlooking the river. The food was the best we'd had in Ireland, not trying to be overly fussy, just great straightforward, creative food. I had the duck, which...More

Great service....extensive wine list and attentive service. The lamb was an unusual choice for my husband but he loved it. The chocolate torte dessert was to die for.

The chef here has a handle on new ideas without taking you to places you don't want to go. Execution is excellent and service is fine dining standards. Some of the best meals in Ireland had here at the end of a long active day.

I have mixed feelings about the restaurant. We have the four course dinner for €65. I had a tuna in sesame seeds.... delicious. This was followed with cod and cous cous. Not great, lacked flavor and had a delicious lemon dessert. Tasty meal....ok

Absolutely. Nice jeans and a shirt would be appropriate for this restaurant.
