I have been here several times and it's never disappointed. Food always tastes exquisite and presented beautifully. It's not your average pub grub and prices do reflect this although it's not overly expensive but I usually go as a family treat rather than on a regular basis.

If your on the N7 and want to stop for food this is the place. It's a tiny little bit in off the road but it's definitely worth the effort. The burgers are lovely, the pork is lovely, the fish is lovely and the staff are very nice and helpful. I've stopped here more than once.. 😉 Good selection of... More

Called just by chance on Sunday evening at about 6.30pm. Place was full and we sat at bar while waiting for table. We ordered while at bar and table was ready before we were served our meal. I had boiled bacon( very traditional Irish meal) wife had confit of chicken, both meals very good. Staff excellent and very attentive. Good... More

I loved the food and service with a smile. The meat was amazing and the fact that they let you feel like you were part of making it.

We called in here on Monday evening. Lovely looking bar. We got seats and were offered general menu or Early Bird: 2 courses for 22euro, 3 courses for 26euro. We decided on mains and dessert. For main, I had the burger, which was delicious. Partner went with pork shoulder - this was very succulent and really tasty but the portion... More

We arrived here for a very late lunch at 3.30 p.m. and were lucky to be served. The kitchen closed at 4 p.m. for lunch. The friendly waitress told us what the blackboard lunch specials for the day were, so I had the carrot and orange soup with brown bread, which was very creamy and tasty, and one of other... More

A family party ( 6 adults and 3 children) had lunch - today 26/03/2017- for Mother's day and it was excellent. I had a Main course of Turkey and it was delicious. The rest of our party were equally complimentary and the children were delighted with their choices too. The Gastro Pub was full, thus depicting its popularity. We were... More

The male staff member with little hair needs to learn Customer service basics. We went in after five minutes waiting at the bar we sat down to be told five minutes later we couldn't sit at the table - after been made stand for another five minutes we were given the same table again with a setting for four people........ Travelling through Kill today we came across this very quaint gastro-pub, it was full but our very nice waiter found a table for two. I had the battered cod with mushy real peas and fries and my husband had the fish pan fried but cant eat cream and the waiter went out of his way to get it right for... More
