Absolutely amazing tomahawk steak with all the trimmings. Sean and his team are so welcoming, can't wait to come back!

We came for lunch, had a lovely view, but the biggest treat of all what the high quality and care of the food! The best pub lunch I've ever had (plaice with breadcrumbs/cod&chips). Would highly recommend (from a pub owner and investor).

Went to bar to ask for menu and lady was very abrupt saying there were a lot of orders but it didn’t really look that busy. I asked to place an order and someone came 15 mins later and took our order. From 7:40pm to...8:55pm there was no sign of our meal so we complained to the bar staff and she said our order was only 30 mins late. We decided to leave as it was far too late to eat. Massive disappointment as they obviously can’t cope. If they can’t don’t accept orders! We won’t be going back.More

One of those pubs that gives the phrase "Gastro Pub" a good reputation! Excellent food at good prices served by accomodating staff. Visited twice ..... and, be warned, be very hungry if you plan to order the full rack of ribs. And indeed the same...goes for the Roasted Pork Belly! Two thoroughly enjoyable evenings.More

We had an early supper sitting out on the front terrace with a lovely view overlooking the harbour. The premises are very spacious with a large bar with eating areas, a separate dining room and outside seating to the rear. The staff were very efficient...and pleasant.More

We never even got into the restaurant. We arrived around 6-30 on 20th September. We asked for a table for four people. The waiter was so abrupt and very rude asking had we made a reservation. We hadn’t but he said in a very aggressive...manner no tables available then turned his back on us. Very upsetting for us indeed with his manner The restaurant at this time was empty. I understand we should have booked but he was not very professional and we did find another fabulous friendly restaurant near by. I can’t comment on the food but the front of the house staff need to be more polite.More

We walked from St Helier and hadn't booked but they found us a table indoors (no free outside tables). We shared the bread, butter and hummus to start, which was delicious and filling. Moules with Thai curry coconut sauce were tasty but would've benefited from...a good squeeze of lime and some fresh coriander, and I'd have preferred proper chips rather than skinny fries which were a bit dry, fish and chips a bit anaemic but tasty. Service was charming but a bit slow (tbf it did get quite busy). We enjoyed our meal overall.More

I always try to be fair and reasonable with my views and often too easy to say perfect or dreadful! I was expecting to receive top notch pub grub but was left disappointed. The burger bun was burnt (black on the inside as the photo...shows). The chips were probably bought in frozen and not fresh as crunchy on outside with a void in the middle and the coleslaw was warm and soggy. The burger was actually nice and tasty. No satisfaction check was made by the team which was a pity. I won’t be visiting again anytime soon. Had far better meals whilst on the island folks.More

We went to the restaurant for dinner. The waitress came over with the menu and we chose our meal only to be told that there was four options not available. There was not much left for us to choose that we would like so we...had fish and chips which was nice. When the waitress came over with the food she asked if we wanted any sauces and I asked for mayonnaise as I do not like tartar sauce. I waited for the mayonnaise and I saw the waitress once carrying drinks and another time with food but no mayonnaise. We had to ask again and another waitress brought the mayonnaise. The first waitress did not come over to our table even to ask if our meals were ok. We ordered four Irish coffees and I ordered a Seville coffee which has Cointreau and when I tasted it I could not taste the Cointreau which at £8.95 you should taste the alcohol but I was given an extra shot which I was not charged extra forMore
